Metamagic is a magical force that you can wield. There are 11 different metamagic's you can use, each with a unique and different effect. They can have a dramatic impact on attacks because of their effects. However, such power comes with a price. They usually have increased stat requirments for different attacks, different MP costs, and different power levels. Still interested? Alright, I shall tell you about each of them.

Maximize This nifty metamagic allows you to do maximum damage with any damage dealing attack. Useful for dealing critical damage to your opponent. However, it adds MP cost of 25% to the attack, and Str requirement 25%.

Reduce I really don't see usefulness in this one, but i'll tell you about it. It halves every aspect of an attack; Damage, Cost, Stat Requirments, and Effect Chance to any attack. It reduces the MP cost by 65%.

Delay This allows you to delay an attack, and use it on your next turn with another attack. You can change your target at that time, too, if you didn't like your first target. The MP cost is added by 0-5%, the MP requirement increases by 5%, and the Agi requirement is reduced 10 points.

Charge Charge an attack, taking up that turn and the next. The next turn will be used for your charged attack. Charging significantly increases the power of the attack. The MP cost is added by 0-5%, the MP requirement increases by 5%, and the Stat requirements are increased by 25%.

Spread Causes a single target attack to target an entire team instead. Adds a 30 point Agi requirement onto the existing Agi requirement.

Extend Allows you to extend the duration of an attack by one round. Useful with low duration effects, like paralysis. The MP cost is added by 100 - [base chance]%.

Disguise Use this to hide an attack and any effects. MP cost is added by 0-10%, the MP requirement increases by 10%, and the Agi Int requirements gain an added 20 points.

Enchant With this, you can add a random Debuff to any attack that does not have any special effects. Requires an extra 10 MP onto an attack, and 30 more Int.

Absorb Restores HP equal to 35% of the damage dealt by an attack, but also lowers the attack's Power by 20%. MP cost grows by 20%, and the Int requirement = Power

Nullify Preform an attack normally, but disable its use by anyone for 3 rounds. Requires 25% more MP.

Now, each Metamagic only costs 200 Slimebucks, but pick wisely the ones you want to carry into the arena. They could possibly change the tide of a battle. Enjoy your metamagic.
