Here's a little something I've been working on.
Tiles and Walkabouts are unfinished, colors and contrast are all messed up. Note the funny sky and ill fitted rocks

Got the dialog bubbles finished today. Poor boy misses his girl

Battle system. Draws enemies in range automatically in (for now they become green), then you fight them in turns. Plays a bit like the one from older Dragon Quest games, only on the normal map.

Time to quaff a potion.

For some inspiration you might want to have a look at Abuse (
https://github.com/Xenoveritas/abuse), which had a similiar control scheme. Also, it's free.
