public domain characters sounds fun. so it could involve any fairy tale. like mixed up mother goose, but with the ohr edge. should it also have something ohr-oriented in the theme? something self-referential or including a feature that only ohr has?

A couple of people asked me to clarify what "long cutscene" entails. I'm not gonna be super strict, whatever cutscene to gameplay ratio seems ridiculous to you

I have a few ideas for this that make me laugh, and a month off from my main project might be good for me. I would think based on the nature of Summer Slam, all entries entered for RGC automatically qualify for that if you choose to enter? So you could theoretically make one game that can win two contests?

Why win one contest, when you can try to win two with the same amount of work? Some might call that smart, some might call it efficient, I think it's a little ridiculous.

All jokes aside, I'd honestly prefer other people win, I found a way to participate that appeals to me. It's nice seeing different people featured on the homepage.

Think that was a good idea. I had deja vu with 2014 Heart of the OHR with the debate of what is an RPG but what is a cutscene and the cutscene debate seemed a lot more vague. There's a lot to be done just by using the characters.

On voting, if nobody's got feedback on that I'm going to default on Fenrir's system from his RGC:

Anybody can vote
Simple 1-5 score for each game
You can vote for your own game
No score for something and I will assume you didn't play it and it gets a 3 from you. So play and score it if you feel like it should or shouldn't win.
