what if the attacker was heavier?
Roughly speaking, an object has a static energy due to E=mc^2, but Newton didn't know that so we can ignore it. In addition an object has energy due to its velocity. Energy is a conserved quantity, so m1 * v1 + m2 * v2 must be equal before and after an impact... Unless one of the two fighters is very fat, then some of the energy will be transferred to hypnotic ondulations, which will convert some energy into heat.
