I'll only reply to you 1 more time in respect to the thread.
I'm fine with you not trusting me, Swordplay. I do not want to work with you as you are impossible to talk to and you have to talk to someone to work with them. We all do generally enjoy the discord and will continue to do so regardless of your hopes.
Anyways, as I said before, regardless of how you feel about other's people's opinions or votes, you're more or less throwing a fit online here and though you're directing your comments at me, lots of people read these things and it affects everyone. I turned in a low effort game so my opinion matters less? Things like that aren't going to help people would are on the fence about entering these contests. You know what does? Seeing a game that has low effort that they know they could beat.
Anyways your point about the twink game having borrowed assets hadnt actually occurred to me until you said it. It likely should be scored along side Cthulhu's paradox and had you made a sensible post about it, I may be doing that. Of course, you didn't do that. So the only thing I'm likely to do is to change my vote for cthulhu to a 1 and the twink game to a 5. Your tone is confrontational and not informative and you won't get far like that.

This is just a reminder that anyone can vote, whether it be in public or in private. Yes, private votes are allowed (some people won't vote otherwise). No, you don't have to explain your reasonings behind why you thought one game was better or not as good as another. Nobody is under any obligation to justify themselves (unless they want to). And of course, you still have the better part of two weeks to play these games, and then send your thoughts on them.

That said, concerning the disqualification of "late entries" - I think I'll just default to the "I didn't play it" rule for voting for them, rather than just throw them out altogether. The main reasoning being that the score placements thus far won't change if I do, and I'm kind of a big softie anyway. :v:

The Charbile Homage game being late is probably the funniest meta-joke in the contest so far.

I've updated my score for Charbile's Hatful Adventure, because sticking to a gimmick of ranking five games from 1-5 when there's six is silly

I think we are supposed to give each game a score from 1-5 like giving them stars. I don't think we have to rank them in order

Correct! You're basically just giving each game a star rating.

Beginning to think there is no Mystery Friends game, it being almost a week past deadline now. I'm still hopeful for it.

Charbile, this is ridiculous and late and amazing and wonderful and late

(Please go into the platform specific options menu and toggle the option to turn off the virtual gamepad on mobile. That change alone should be enough to make it fully playable on the debug android player)

If Hati's Bizarre Adventure WAS Charbile's greatest game, then Mystery Friends takes that title now. It's a shame the game is late and breaks the contest rules by using disqualified people. My game does too since it uses Rue though.

This game was tremendously fun and very fairly balanced.
