Is it okay to play the new demo with the saved game from the previous demo? Will I miss anything important?

That's fine! Some stuff like starting money and the levels you learn spells changed but it's not a big deal.

15 out of 25 stages are finished! Moving fast now. This is probably a lot larger than a completely optional mini game needs to be but hey I'm having fun.
