Do you have a target to release it? It seems really rewarding for you to just work on it until you find it's done to your liking. Deadlines help that push to get to the end goal. The former could mean the game is in production longer but if you're enjoying yourself the most then you'll likely create the best content. Either way, the updates are great.

Yeah all of the mice are in the game, just not playable. Grape is part of the main story, Blueberry's a shop keeper, Rice is part of a side story, Ketchup and Mustard run the coliseum.

I wanted to release this year for the 20th anniversary of the original release. Looking less likely that I finish the game this year. The main content is nearly done (two dungeons left plus their cutscenes and that's it), but I want to keep adding little things to make it a richer game. Some side stuff is getting moved to after release because it was getting larger than I have time for right now.

Release won't be TOO far away though! Maybe February? 2023 would be the 25 year anniversary of the original game being started so that's still something.

"Harpoon" is a popular movie franchise within the Walthros universe. Originally, the title character was a masked seal who haunted a popular campground. In his final film, Harpoon would be reborn as a space robot.

This is a fight that changes quite a bit on Hard Mode. If you're playing on Hard, Electrofish's magic is buffed slightly after each spell, and Steel Seal's punches are buffed after each attack. You have to choose Hank's partner carefully to counter these buffs!

Family; everyone takes a different road. Some work an office. Some run a donut stand. Some dedicate themselves to battle. Some get cursed by the undying spirit of an ancient horror.

Grape's role changed and he's no longer part of the main story, but part of the same side quest as Rice, who is now named Beans, because Beans is the best animal name and it's still a food. Ketchup and Mustard's roles expanded and they've got a ton of dialogue now.
