reviews (not) linked to games
I noted some of the reviews I wrote for the review contest aren't linked to their games.
Now I wonder, what if someone revied one of my games/demos and I would not see it?
Is there a way to figure out wich reviews were not yet linked to their games or something to make this process more visible?

If I remember correctly (and I might not), Mogri has to manually confirm each review to connect it to the game. He probably just hasn't had time to do it lately
(I'm a moderator, but I actually have no idea if I can do that or not. I don't know how it works)
That's what I remember as well, that the reviews have to be confirmed manually.
So, I guess that's correct.
I believe that for the last few (or many) years, SDHawk has taken over the responsibility of attaching reviews to games.
Are there any reviews that still aren't linked? I couldn't find any.
Linking is accomplished by a moderator posting to the thread for a game, example. (Note the URL is viewtopic.php instead of viewgame.php)

fun fact, i finally learned to program correctly once i gave up on trying to mod phpbb. It's like software made by people that hate other people. I downloaded Simple Machines and that one was a relative dream to work with (but it's fairly dead end as far as updates go these days)Mogri wrote:In the past, we've had someone do it manually. It's a bit of a thankless job, though if you want it, it's yours.
The reason I implemented it the way I did was (pick one):
- PHPbb really wasn't built for this
- a really good reason that I can't remember anymore
- I was lazy
Now I'm writing my own forum software because I hate everyone else's.

I, uh, actually don't remember the procedure anymore. If you want to tutor marionline, I can handle the permissions.SDHawk wrote:I still link up reviews, but only like once or twice a year (last time must have been part way through last year's review contest?). If you want to do it more frequently, go for it.
1. Go to the review's page and note the url. ie, https://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7464
The number at the end, in this case 7464, is what you want.
2. Go to the game's page and click on "post reply".
3. Write a post with [review]7464[/review] and submit it (the number changes with each review).
4. Done! You might want to check the game's page again to make sure everything linked up correctly and you had the correct review.
