So many new features! I'm about to test it out now. Really excited to, too.

Perhaps if layers could be skewed, fixed etc., individually?
There might not be an option to do this in Custom, but writing a script that skews the map layers shouldn't be too difficult, assuming they aren't too resistant to being messed with. It'd be easier if you wanted them at a fixed skew, but you could probably even do a parallax skew to make it really look 3D.

I think there will be a lot more map editor changes coming later. This was just the stuff that TMC wanted to squeeze in before the stable release :)

Thank you all for the testing, keep at it. :)

Indeed, here's some more :)

Notice that to draw/remove whole wall blocks I held down Ctrl. Maybe I should add a setting to control which type of drawing is the default. Hmm, or I could just have two different tools (this one could be called the line tool) even though for keyboard usage they would be identical.
(Edit: I decided to go with two tools: Draw and Line. You can still use Ctrl if you want to make Line act like Draw.)

Several bugs have been fixed in the last few days, but we still need to fix that tile animations menu one.
Completely frozen. Absolutely no interaction was possible with Game.
Ah, that's what I expected. I have no idea what happened, but g_debug.txt might have had a clue.

Looking at the gif, I misunderstood the thing Foxley reported as something new and serious. Actually it's been that way forever. Fixed now.

In the absence of last minute bugs, I guess we'll have to relegate further fixes to Etheldreme+1 :)

Also, you can still make name suggestions for the F release!

Unless somebody comes up with an "F" codename that blows our collective socks off in the next 24 hours, I think the stable release after etheldreme will probably be "Fufluns"

Haha! That is a good one. I If my mouth was capable of pronouncing it the same way twice in a row it might be a contender ;)

Felsenmeer is interesting. Doesn't that literally translate to "rock ocean" or something?

I forked the etheldreme stable release, but I am going to put off releasing it for a couple days. Maybe until Sunday or Monday.

I wanted to do it today, but I have been rather busy with other stuff, and then dreamhost is having some technical difficulties that are interfering with uploads, and I don't think their tech support is going to get back to me today.

So, a couple extra <a href="http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/nig ... testing</a> days!

As for the f* codename, my favorites so far are:

* Fufluns - Etruscan god of plants, health, and booze
* Felsenmeer - A sea of rocks
* Fanfaronade - Because it will be the most amazing stable release ever, just you wait! Better than any other update!

Likely :)

Fulgour is an archaic spelling of fulgor, which is also the name of brand of kitchen applicances.

Even though I like "felsenmeer," both the name and the spirit of it, and even though I think it would make a great codename, "fufluns" just *sounds* like an OHR codename. I say flip a coin. Either would work.
