Talk about things that are not making games here. But you should also make games!

New music for Stote's Quest

Post by TheLordThyGod »

Going to try and learn enough to make an adventure game called Stote's Quest in time for the contest. In the process of getting the starting area setup, I made some music. First time using Reaper.

Great! Music is the one thing that goes into gamemaking that I already knew how to do. I'm used to working in Logic (and to a lesser extent Pro Tools), but my only working computer at the moment is an old XP machine. Luckily Reaper is free and compatible. Still finding my workflow. Got some money put back to buy another Mac to use for recording. Whenever I get that, I should be able to accomplish a lot more at home.
