I ask because I want to edit one of my older games a bit, for funzies, but I don't have the .hss file anymore.
If it's possible to nab my .hss file directly from the game and save myself hours of re-writing every single script, I'd love to know!
Is extracting hss files from your game, possible?

Oh nice! I'll send you the game then!Bob the Hamster wrote:It depends on how old the game is.
More recent versions store a backup copy of the .hss inside the rpg file.
You can send me a copy of the rpg file, and I will see what I can extract.

Then email the game to me, and I'll run the scripts through my HS Decompiler utility for you.
Thanks for trying. <:)Bob the Hamster wrote:No luck, I am sorry to say. That rpg file was far too old. The scripts were still in a very old format that does not contain and backup of the .hss file.
Sure!TMC wrote:Then email the game to me, and I'll run the scripts through my HS Decompiler utility for you.
