How do I use the default battle music?

I set up a default battle music but I don't hear it in any battles?
Do I setup another setting somewhere?

Go to the battle formation editor. Is the selected music the default, or does it say something else? I'm not sure, but in general, defaults sometimes are not implemented for pre-existing data, but will be implemented automatically when creating a new one.

The options are
-silence-
0-12 (music imported)
- same music as map-

tested all these options.
right now, i'm not finding a way to set it for the default.

Is the music playing in the Import Music menu option in Custom? I'd maybe try checking your sound settings, volume, etc. or it could be an issue with the sound library that's being used. What OS are you running?

Yes I can hear the music when previewing and also in battle. (When I choose it as the music for the specific formation)
I'm running on Windows 10.
Basically I'm not finding a setting that chooses playing the default music in the battle formations. (I set it in the default battle music settings)
I can only have it silent or choose a music or same as the map.

I just tested it. All that Default Battle Music does in the Global Music and Sound Effects menu is make it choose a song automatically when you create a new battle formation, to save you the trouble of picking your regular battle theme manually for every formation. That's all it's for.

Now as far as not being able to hear music, make sure that in the game you're fighting the formation you think you are, and you have the battle music set for it.

I was going crazy trying to find a default song setting up in the formations.
