Post by Spoonweaver »

That's right everyone! The year's almost over and so the 2015 Humble OHR Bundle is almost out dated.
We need a new set of games to showcase to the world!

Along with that, we need a new mascot to help promote that bundle. This years, in case you were unaware, was Deathstarfish!

Anyways, this week, I'd like to discuss the best way to come up with the games for the bundle and the mascot.

Ideas?

But it's only been, what, a couple months? Sure, we can start planning.

For reference:

First OHRRPGCE Bundle and list of suggested games
List of complete OHRRPGCE games (probably a little out of date now)

Best way to decide the next bundle? I suggest the Chamberlin-Courant voting rule. Now, I know what complaint you're about to raise --- "But, but it's computationally intractable to compute the winning committee exactly!" -- but have no fear, an exponential time voting algorithm is no problem as long as the number of voters is small.

Haha! Beautiful :)

EDIT: Whichever games are chosen, I want to help the authors of *all* of them make android versions.

We should work on getting Chronoboy's Android packaging tool ready for public use after Callipygous is released.

This year the random monster pieces will be taken from OHR icons. This will currently include all monsters included in Fenrir's D&D like articles found int he old ohr mag as well as shape people, dog people, and gnomes.
Please nominate others.

Everything from Walthros! Monterey Penguin also has some good characters. Also, Komera Waddi and Rell:

I will never stop finding Rell disturbing. Which I'm pretty sure is the point.
