That bit about Clover is interesting, because Harvey does know that Azedarc was wearing a Clover pendant.. but now doesn't recognize any significance to it!

Double post! This is an interesting predicament. Is Harvey close enough to shoot the guy who robbed Lynda? 'cause if so, a murder could be in the cards. Doubly so since the thief went around a corner which might delay finding his corpse... but the chances of an arrow flying into town in broad daylight with NOBODY noticing is pretty slim, and it starts chaos we don't need. But if it was succesful and undetected, Harvey would have clothes more fitting of a local which could aid poking around later.

On the other hand Lynda is creating a great distraction which could give Harvey valuable time to get into town with less attention. Can always murder the thief on the way back out.

Tempted to go on a very unlady-like rampage

Fair warning, if these dudes make any hostile moves towards Kalar, he's unleashing hell and maybe nuking the place.

Without being able to fly or use any magic? And with Lynda's primary weapon being a ranged weapon? Not very good, I'd say.

Hopefully Harvey can jump in and even the odds for Lynda-- but if he can't and things go horribly wrong, maybe she can remove the necklace just long enough to dissipating-touch all of them and then slip it back on again. The hellfrost may advance, but hopefully not much?

If Kalar's nearby, and Lynda can see him, she could try to get his attention. Granted, his response might not be all that helpful if he decides to nuke them, but it would certainly even up the odds even if he only goes in for melee. Still, Harvey is prolly Lynda's best bet right now. If he decides to step in though.

On the other hand, her getting captured and brought to whatever secret underground black-market area these guys might have could prove to be useful, if only to learn where they are for future nuking.

kalar is far away, as is rob. You're both in completely different parts of town in fact.
the town might be bigger than you're thinking. There are hundreds of buildings.

Harvey will decide to step in if the thugs start attacking her or something, but if they're just carrying her to a nearby stronghold he'll follow along. Knowing where the bad guys hang out is valuable intel.

Of course, if getting caught wasn't part of Lynda's plan, Harvey might step in to make sure things stay tilted in her favor.

If that tower with the single window is where the beast is, then I propose a plan:
  1. Wait until nightfall.
  2. Lynda gives whatever item it is that lets her fly to Harvey.
  3. Kalar casts deeper darkness on something of Harvey's.
  4. Harvey flies up in sight of the window, using the darkness to blend in with the night.
  5. Kalar flies up above the tower.
  6. When Harvey sees someone, anyone, inside the tower through the window, snipe him.
  7. Kalar sees Harvey doing the sniping, orders undead to "mysteriously appear" on the outskirts of town, providing a distraction for the inquisition.
  8. Kalar nukes the tower.
  9. Once nuking is done, and dude has been sniped, Rob teleports himself, Rachelle, and Lynda (and as many undead as he can for use as cannon fodder) into the tower, bypassing the rest of the cathedral.
  10. If beast lives, the three fight it with aerial support from Kalar and Harvey.
  11. Once beast is dead, grab ring.
  12. Kalar and Harvey fly in, retrieve the others, and fly away to avoid any repercussions.
What do you guys think?

That sounds like a good plan to me!

Some additional thoughts:

* How tall is the tower? Rob's Cape of the Mountebank can go a max of 760 feet, so if the top of the tower is under that distance, he could use the cape to get in, and the teleport to get out, making escape easier. (760 feed is enough to get to the top of the Washington Monument, but not enough to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower)

* Will Rob have any problems teleporting Lynda while she is wearing the amulet? Did she have to take it off for Dan to teleport her earlier? I think so.

* What spell(s) do you have planned for the Nuking?
