I'm surprised at how much they actually cost, I would've figured something in the neighborhood of 3 bucks too. You are insanely persistent to have gotten that far, and I can safely tell you you're not missing anything to give up now. Makes me glad I made 300 textboxes, though!

I left it on for a week. Every night with dinner I would eat with my left hand, play with my right and watch YouTube.
I had thought " wouldn't it be great if giz made this awesome game that no one ever played cuz they thought it was a joke and gave up too quickly."
I knew it was a joke from the start but I thought " what if".
I was going to be the first to play that awesome hidden game.
But hey..at least I can claim the high score for wage slave!

When I have the power to turn them into silver and gold pennies, I sure do. Plus, since the penny has been discontinued, I suspect the value of them to go up to 1.1 cents per penny. 1.2 for my transmogrified ones.TMC wrote:That might be, but it's under no obligation to accept your pennies in exchanges for lemons, bricks, mangos, at least a few good years of life, or any other trinkets.

In Canada... and it can be a pain explaining to people. I'm a cashier part-time, and our tills do not round the penny value up or down. In other words we do it manually. This isn't a big deal, it's very simple. The problem is that our register displays that $23.53 is owed, and then I ask the customer for $23.55... Let's just say that some people try and make a big fuss out of it. Also at my store we don't accept pennies. This is also an issue sometimes. I think as time goes on, these complaints should vanish though.Bob the Hamster wrote:In which country?Meowskivich wrote:...Plus, since the penny has been discontinued,...
I know there has been a campaign to discontinue the penny in the united states, but it has not succeeded yet.

There were two bills introduced in congress to try and kill the US penny, but both failed.Meowskivich wrote: couda swore they killed it sometime in 2013. maybe it was a dream or somethin'
Last year President Obama publicly stated his support for killing the penny, pretty much guaranteeing that no republican would dare vote in favor of it, so the penny is safe until at least 2016.
EDIT: in my opinion, they should keep the penny, but start making them out of plastic or vinyl or something, rather than zinc composite.
