I'm wondering if anyone has really old (as in pre-2000ish: Ends of the Earth, Warriors of Conway, Lolsidothaldremobine, Pain [I think there was a game called Pain?], some game with a smiley face hero named Sir Billiam I think, etc.) games stashed somewhere? I think Castle Paradox has some of the ones that ended up getting finished or updated, but a lot of the really obscure releases that were left in demo state don't seem to be there.
I'd love to drown myself in some adolescent nostalgia, since when I was like 13-15 I would play almost every single OHR game I could get ahold of and you gotta love that HOGEEZITOTALLYREMEMBERTHISTHINGFROMWHENIWASLITTLEBUTLIKEJUSTBARELY feeling when you run across something really old and obscure.
Any archives of REALLY old OHR games?

I don't know of any older collections than the ones listed here: http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce ... d_games%3F
I seem to remember that Metballsub was collecting old games, and so was somebody else... Pepsi Ranger maybe?
Pain definitely did exist. If anybody finds a copy, I would like to see it. I lost my copy many years ago in a hard drive crash, although I still have the one set of hero battle sprites, and the one backdrop I drew for it.

Merry Christmas!
Makes me wish I had known back then to submit my older stuff there, so I could look back on it now with Nostalgic contentment.
Oh well. I still have the memories.

I'm not collecting them or anything, but I do have a bunch of them. I have a bad/good habit of never deleting anything I've played.Bon the Hamster wrote:I seem to remember that Metballsub was collecting old games, and so was somebody else... Pepsi Ranger maybe?
I may or may not have more on the other computer that I haven't powered on since 2005. I'm pretty sure I've ported everything of value and of reasonable storage size to my current computer way back when, but there are some games that I know I've downloaded at some point that I can never find. Chances are those are the ones I've deleted, and I only delete games that I don't want defiling the sanctity of my hard drive if they're that terrible.
Meatballsub has pretty much everything that I have and possibly more.
He doesn't come around here anymore, and I don't know if this even still applies, but Rinku was your go-to for all old, odd, and obscure OHR games once upon a time. If you can get a hold of him, he's your best chance at finding all the games you can no longer find.
