Thanks! I'm personally looking forward to this year's Review Contest so I can see it reviewed without being played again.

"This C.Kane game appears to be a comic adaptation of the biblical story of Cain and Abel-- at least that is what I glean from a hasty reading of the title.

The screen shots are still in black and white, which strikes me as lazy. Come on! This engine supports sixteen colors or something, please at least take the time to use more than four of them! This lazyness on the authors part makes me feel smugly justified in my decision not to have downloaded the game.

As for the new content, I watched a lets play recorded last year, but the guy had a really annoying voice, so I quit 30 seconds in. I can only assume that the new content was worse than that.

2 out of 5 clown noses."

Steam buddies!

Does C.Kane 2.0 denote a sequel or a major update?

It's an update. There are a few new NPCs throughout the base game and roughly an hour of new content that appears before the final dungeon.

I haven't played this or Horse Game yet because while I'm a huge fan I'm also a terrible and lazy person.

Oh my god. Speaking of Horse Game, I came across this Super Metroid video on Youtube and... this guy. This German guy. I immediately thought of Horse Game.

I would have figured that out months ago if I bothered to unzip and play it already.

Version 2 is complete.

1/22/16 - Version 2
-New NPCs added to Monorado, The Deadly Volcano exterior, and Dead Lands exterior.
-Added new NPC with a minor quest to Sink Hole entrance.
-Added a new accessory for Leland.
-Added the optional Clown Town area, appears before the final dungeon.
-Newly accessible building available in Monorado after The Incident.
-Minor dialogue/formatting edits.
-Modified NPC movements in Monorado so they get in the way less often.
-Added a new option to the Dating Minigame.
-Minor soundtrack edits.
-Dialogue formatting edits.

It's been submitted to Steam's final approval and will be available on the Steam storefront within a couple of days. The new version will also be added to Google Play and Amazon shortly.

Since I'm selling it on Steam the version on here will be converted into a demo, ending after the first boss. It's going to be $2, but discounted to $1 for launch and probably a long time after.

I think i get a free key for buying the bundle it's in, but I'm too lazy to find that email so I'll probably just buy it again too.

It was part of a bundle on Groupees way back in the spring to promote games currently on Greenlight to help them get on Steam. Once the game's up I'll be requesting keys to send out to all the bundle buyers.

Congrats on the update. At some point I'll have to do that video review of it you'd asked for. Assuming my recorder works this time.
