Lady of Bath Salts seems the more science-y choice. How can Bath Salts exist without some science? 0039KNIFEBOMB sounds like a military vessel, and the last thing you want to do is actually work.

Remembering that the train you were just on was actually full of zombies... maybe the bath salts ship IS the ship you should be on.

The hot dog was... not great. But you have had time to ponder, and you decide that the helicopter boat is your safest bet. You scurry up the ramp.

As you reach the top of the ramp, the doors slide smoothly open. A jowely bulldog in a bathrobe is standing there, looking at you expectantly.

What should you say?

Politely but firmly suggest that he is in your room.

He was probably expecting some sort of labcoat to have been worn by you.
Scientists are forced to wear those all the time, right?

You awaken, groggy and confused in a dark room. You have lost all sense of space and time. How long were you unconscious? 11 minutes? 11 hours? 11 years?

You try to clear your head and think back. You vaguely remember greeting some weird bulldog guy using a ridiculous fake cockney accent. You don't remember why you did that. Then he scowled... Laughed... And... That's all you remember after that point.

The time isn't set on the VCR. Better fix that.

Questions like "where am I?" Or "what the heck happened?" Are big ones. They are tough to grasp when you're confused and disoriented.

It's much better to focus on the little stuff first. Small concrete things. Thinks that you can take action on!

...like fixing the time on this digital clock. Maybe that will help you focus and clear your head.

Oh. Whoa. Umm... You're beginning to think this might not be a VCR

Maybe take a step back and look out the window instead.

If anything, this is worse! The poor creature has no idea what time it is!

Okay, stay calm. Just take a step back to the window. No sudden movem--

Predator-prey flight response!

While bonking your face against the sturdy maritime glass, you do get a good look outside. It is night, and there seems to be a bit of a storm out there. Lots of big scary ominous waves against a dark sky.

Also rather a lot of luminous stinging jellyfish.

Befriend the VCR Spider by feeding it whatever is in your pockets.
Then, assuming that is successful (because why wouldn't it be) have it light the way with it's VCR eyes.
