How to get traffic with no advertising: Host pixel art tutorials. Seriously, every one of these from old HS issues still gets a lot of random search engine traffic.

I'm writing an article containing techniques for making mazes in RPGs. It will detail different types of mazes and maze obstacles. Does this sound interesting to anyone else?

I'll probably have it done early next week.

I'd read it for sure.

My article on environment interactions should be done around the same time as well, barring any unforeseen events.

Awesome! Both of those articles sound cool.

I still have that article from back when this idea was first proposed.
I haven't uploaded because I feel it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped.

Well, I can certainly take a look at it if you'd like. I just finished my English 101 class, so now I'm an expert at editing (cough).

Ah, eng101, fond memories of college. I recall being bored out of my mind in that class, hehe. But on a more serious note, my article will be ready in a few days. It's about environment interactions and adding more flavor to a game. I'll send it to you soon as I'm done. It's formatted in html, so it should (in theory) be easy to import into a blog. I'm thinking of turning this into a series of articles about environment interactions, but we'll see.

Willy Elektrix has the honor of being the first published author on the Hamster Burrow with his article on maze design! It's pretty intense and has tons of good info.

I'm hoping to get my series on the OHR entrants, uh, started. I have just seriously got to stop playing Minecraft ALL day. I did write a bit about AR-PUH-GUh though so that's good...

BMR, your article sounds really cool. I'm big into making a living environment in a game, and I would definitely want to read a series of articles about it. It's a big topic.

Sorry I haven't gotten around to submitting a banner, yet. I keep meaning to work on it and then something else comes up. I should have time this weekend, and then I'm going to start working on a few art related submissions of my own.

I look forward to more 30-minute reviews.

I'm glad you like them! I wish I had more time to spend with each game, but I think 30 minutes is enough to get a good impression at the very least. I'll have a lot more time next year, hopefully.
