I was totally surprised when I saw this. That's what I missed so far. This is a begining of something, I mean a new approach, maybe. We are hm... politely encouraged to do custom graphics, when make an OHR game. But whith the help of tools like this less talented persons can also enjoy the excitement of game making. With the use of this tool I can cope with one of the hardest graphical challenge: to do portrait graphics. Ok, it needs some further expansion, but in my opinon, it's a huge step towards user (newbie) friendliness. I don't consider myself a Renaissance Man, I can't draw very well, but I want to make a game (or pretend to make a game).
About the Face Maker itself: it's V0.5, some details need to improve, or add. But we got promise for further improvements from BMR. The surface is very user friendly, we can draw varied (white skined and grey haired) portraits. Of course they can be recolored, some separateness needed to OHR, anyway. So I think it's a great initiation to help poor newbies to make their games. It will make easier our lives as a (hypothetic) game developer. I will use it (I swear). Although English is not my first language, and even not the second, I felt it important to write this rewiew, because I want to express my enthusiasm about this tool/project.
