Peanut nudges Beardthar for his attention and mentions over in a hushed voice, "Hey, Bearddwarf. Look at their bag... Isn't that...?" He points towards the corner to where the item is noticeable. "They might be the ones watching us..." Upon that realization, Peanut quickly turns to Tim Tim and his shopping and tries to act casual, "Hi! What'd you find?"

Tim-Tim grins at his deal gone well, and decides that he's ready enough for the journey now. He regards the others that have followed him downstairs faster than he would have guessed they would.

Tim-Tim plays around with his new dagger while awaiting an answer. Flicking it out in the air in front of him as if expecting the dagger to possibly shoot something out.

Holy Saint Akbar al-Akbar strolls into the lobby after a hearty breakfast. He flashes a wide grin to the occupants as he strolls to join the party.

Beardthar looks in puzzlement at the two in the corner. He checks his own bag to see if he is still carrying the magic talking rod, or if he gave it back to Spittle.

Beardthar mentally berates himself for being absent minded.

Calling Rock-head to heel, Beardthar steps outside the door of the inn, and takes a good look up and down the street to see what he can see.

The rod is still indeed in your possession. It would seem that these two have an identical rod, if it is indeed the same type.

Stepping outside, you spot along the street, a general store, a stable, and a bunch of houses. Other than the occasional citizen walking through the street, there doesn't really seem to be much of note nearby.

Knowledge (Nature) (1d20 + Ranks + INT)

Beardthar: 14 + 6 + 1 = 21 Success

Judging by the temperature and the way the wind is blowing, you'd guess that you're in for some rain. Probably not today, but definitely within the week.

Done with the deal, the innkeeper asks:

Beardthar: 3 + 5 + 3 = 11 Fail

Tim-Tim: 19 + 0 + 3 = 22 Success

You're not quite sure, but you think you noticed the ranger in the corner table look in your direction. Not just a glance, but rather as if he were observing your group. It didn't last too long though, so you can't be quite sure.

Peanut remains inside, looking all about him in case more things seem off other than the group in the corner, "The sooner the better." He says to the gnome, unaware of the weather problems that'll arise.

Oh, do any of you have any money? The barkeeper here has a magic ring that might help us on our quest. It's 2000 gold, but I believe it might be well worth it.

"Magic ring? What's so special about it?" He asks, crossing his arms a bit skeptical. He rolls his eyes towards the direction of the men in the corner, but doesn't turn to look at them, and mutters in response in a hushed voice, "Figures!" knowing how that coincides with the warning they got.

Oh, I don't actually know, it might be best to leave it be. 2000 gold might actually be a rip off. Well let's go.

Then Tim-Tim exits the INN with the goal of leaving this terrible city.

According to the map, you estimate that it's going to take anywhere from two to three days to get to the temple. The leg of the journey will take you through forests, while the last part goes through an underground pass before getting to the actual temple.
