moderators and communities can also be wrong, stupid or downright malevolent!

It's a crapshoot! the ultimate game, if you will.

That's why i'm so thankful to reside in this particular community, mostly, when its available to me.

It was very astonishing, how the forum dealt with the two wild Pokemons appearing last month. A Hitler-like dictator admin would have executed them quicker than you can blink.

Can confirm. I've been banned or threadlocked all sorts of places because I'm right and people invested in living on lies are made uncomfortable, even when I'm being super polite.

Sometimes I have been in the wrong though, and sometimes I say true things in very rude ways that only make people want to argue with me in an adversarial way. I'm better at all this now than I was fifteen years ago.

Nathan has a very good point. Even if you're right, being confrontational for no apparent reason will shut off any listening that might occur.

And this community is so very much NOT like a heavy-handed authoritarian situation. Very rarely is there any kind of punitive measure, and very rarely do you even see mods talking like 'big officials'.

Truth is Sword, we all like you -- but we all find it immensely irritating for you make your problems everybody else's problem. We would listen to you if you wanted to just tell us you're having a hard time. That's fine. But spamming everybody and calling them idiots and fascists instead of opening up your ear holes when someone's pointing out unpleasant and unnecessary behavior...

This is literally like watching a screaming, hungry, tired toddler refuse to eat or sleep. Just cool off, man.

I honestly think you guys are too good for me. I know I've let people down before, and god willing, I will let them down again.
It's probably best if I follow Nathan's example and keep some distance for a while, especially if i am being so problematic. my life is full of problems, it was inevitable it would happen.
