On the flipside, your word on Gizmog's affair are actually intriguing.

Oh and the pig who bought the brick is a reference to one of Giz's other games. Perhaps you can find it. :V

That game would be Wage Slave, one of my entries for last year's three round 48 hour extravaganza. I forgot it wasn't hosted here, I'll try to find a way to post it without people thinking it's an entry for this year's contest.

EDIT: Oh! And thanks for the review! Hearing nice stuff about your game so soon after releasing it really settles down those "Post-Contest" nerves.

Indeed. This game is gonna be remembered as a nod back to the birth of the OHR when nobody could draw well, and yet it was still magical because we could call these graphics our own unlike RPG Maker '95's pre-made, bland graphics.

My game is Escape the Wolf: OHR ... and I am pretty darn happy about it. It even has two endings :)

Now, I am going to take a break and rest before I start playing games for the judging!

Really? I didn't realize...I didn't want to enter Ludum Dare in the first place, so I just uploaded the link. I guess i'm used to people who already have OHRRPGCE.

Mine's up:

http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?t=4335

Please refrain from rating it on the Slime Salad game list. I only uploaded here because Castle Paradox is down.

Brief Description:

In the future, people are bored with reality shows. They're also bored with televised executions. The only thing that peaks their interest nowadays is the courtroom execution game, where murderers are tried within the hour...by their opponents!

In "Monster Out of Six," you are one of six contestants thrown into an arena that's about to be gassed. You have one hour to find out who's innocent, who the guilty one, and free the innocents, and yourself, before the gas cloud is triggered. The hitch: There are only five keys in the arena. One of you MUST die. Can you figure out which one is the murderer and leave him there to face his execution? What if you're the murderer? Will you do the right thing, or leave the innocents to die alone? It's up to you!

Note: This is highly incomplete. I'll post a better version in the future.

Note 2: I know it was fifteen minutes late, but the 10:00 version had a game breaking bug that needed to be fixed (a text box). If the version you have does not let you unlock the cells, then you need to download again. Thank you. (It's just two lines of script that I forgot to include prior, so don't yell at me for cheating! I spent the first two hours of the contest fiddling with an unrelated script, so I'm still 2 hours behind everyone else, but I know that's no consolation. Anyway, enjoy the idea behind this.)

Forest Temple available here:
http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?t=4334

We're planning to enter the LD Jam. Basically the concept of our preview is that we took a half finished game and removed anything from it that was only half finished, leaving nothing.

Forest Temple requires a Nightly to use. :/
I think Monster out of Six is broken. I can't free any prisoners on my own will, and a door leads to a dead end room that you cannot escape.

MasterK:

Download again. Three of you may have missed the cell door fix. I uploaded without checking if that script worked. I just had to add those two lines of code that I thought I had added prior to the deadline, but didn't.

I don't know about a dead end broken door. The debug keys are on if you get stuck somewhere. You'll probably need to use F11 to get through the main floor's exit once you've opened it. Didn't have time to error check that.

I'm an idiot, I uploaded the wrong .zip file. Wrong version of the game, and I meant to include a nightly .exe.

(Before I even got around to posting this reply:)

I'm an idiot, apparently I quit Custom without saving. I've reimported the scripts, rezipped, and reuploaded the <s>game</s> teaser.

EDIT: Oh, I see I included the wrong nightly; this one apparently doesn't work. I reuploaded yet again to add the missing .dll.

I think that door link to nowhere is an engine bug. The map it links to has no doors. I have another door link to the exact same place (Door: 0, Map: 0). That one doesn't teleport. Not sure why the one in the lower left is teleporting. (Zenzizenzic stable release if any bug-hunters are interested.)

Anyway, get the game while you can. As soon as this contest is over, it's gone. (Until I can actually finish it.)

7 entries, by my count. I have listed them all <a href="http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewtop ... #76968">in the first post</a> for convenience.

Remember that when you vote, you don't need to use any numbers, just rank the games in order from favorite to least favorite.

Does a week sound long enough for voting? Or should we collect votes for 2 weeks?

And remember, anybody who entered Ludumdare is eligible to <a href="http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/">participate in the Ludumdare voting</a>.
