Hey, so I finally got around to playing Macabre, and I just beat it.
First of all, I'm glad I decided to play it, I had a great time. I'm not going to say the game was flawless or anything, but I loved a lot of the mechanics you put in place; they made it so I never really got bored. The bonus experience from fighting enemies after clearing an area was brilliant. I want to see that feature or one similar in other games. Plus, the placement of loot made exploration actually worthwhile, and the limited enemies made me feel safe to explore.
The game was pretty easy. I think I only died once to non-boss enemies, and it was in the Flesh Gigas. That being said, I thought it was really well-balanced.
I didn't take notes or play it from a critical standpoint, so I can't give you a lot of in-depth feedback. I played it casually, just like I play any other game on Steam, and I'm happy to have it in my library.
Thanks for making this game.
