Seriously, two or three cheesy puns PER TEXTBOX?? Were you trying to see if it was possible to give someone pun-poisoning?)
It's even worse in my Village People game.

Monster Lot My favorite was monster lot. I got a lot of laughs out of it, and I loved all the voices except Pig's which grated on me for some reason. The cast was very large, and I didn't mind at all, since I felt like they all had a part... except maybe the dragon guy. He looked cool, he just didn't need to talk. I especially like Eugene, and Tasha's backstory tickles me more than it should :) I also really liked Syd and Roland, even though they were easy to spot as Meatwad and Zoidberg rip-offs respectively.

3/3/3

Fat Frog The Movie was my second favorite. The voices cracked me up, and the fight animation was top notch. The story was pretty weak and wobbly, even without considering that it wasn't finished. I might have given it a 1 for story, except there were so many weaker stories, I had to bump it up to a 2 to keep things in perspective.

3/2/3

Deforestation Trilogy I liked the first two as silly little vignettes. The third was pretty fancy, but the gratuitous triangle violation scene kinda ruined it for me.

3/1/2

Triangle I didn't really like Triangle, but I concede it was well presented. Like with Deforestation 3, I was turned off by what came across to me as mean spirited trolling. I recognize the story as a satire, but I don't like my satires so heavy-handed.

3/2/1

Metal Gear Duck This did make me laugh several times, even though I have never played MGS and probably missed a much of references. I would like to see more duck versions of... everything.
2/2/2

Habla no Ingles: The Movie I didn't get it. The refrigerator chase scene made me laugh, but I didn't know what to make of the rest of it. Whatever it was, it was well presented.

3/1/1

Harry Potter In this case, I got the joke, and laughed at the first one. I ground my teeth through the second one. I didn't even unzip the third one :P I am giving this good presentation marks because it did such an amazing job of bad presentation.

3/1/1

The Great American Novel I am disappointed with myself for not finishing this, but I guess i bit off more than I could chew :) 3/3/3 in my head, but 0/0/0 in reality.

EDIT: Also, I really wish we had voted on a 1-5 scale instead of a 1-3 scale. I have a hunch it might have resulted in slightly fewer hurt feelings all around ;)

It's even worse in my Village People game.
Really? That's odd, I know I remember playing Village People and really liking it. There definitely were some silly puns here and there, but they didn't seem to be really excessive.

Maybe it's a "game vs. movie" thing, and they were just so much more noticeable in Monster Lot because they were being thrown out rapid-fire two or three per textbox without any walking around, exploring, and fighting in between those textboxes. That's the only thing I can think of, anyway.
You spoof me and yet vote me down?!....

How could you!
Heh. I wasn't actually trying to bash the Deforestation series with super-low votes or anything (if I wanted to do that, I wouldn't be giving them 2's and 3's in Presentation; the animations really were good)... there's just not a whole lot to the first two, and the gory stuff really, really hurt my opinion of the third.
I'm guessing this "shocked" response wasn't entirely serious, though, going by those weird pink Pac-Man looking emoticons.

By the way, Metal Gear Duck would most likely end up rated lower than any of them if it hadn't been disqualified (not much point in voting on it if it's not going to count, even though a bunch of people already did anyway.)

The only two I've had actual time to play are Monster Lot and Triangle. I've been busy the last month selling-artwork/making-money/lifting-myself-out-of-poverty/in-a-place-with-sporadic-internet. Consequently the following votes will be horribly skewed.

Monster Lot
3/3/3

Triangle
3/1/1

In unrelated Anthrocon news... [s]yes I'm in Pittsburgh...[/s]

If James made a "Games of the Hamster Republic 2" CD to sell *here* and a print of some of his webcomics, he'd make a killing. :o Bob the Hamster is apparently known by all KINDS of folks, and the fact that James has never had a panel/booth is a mystery to a lot of people I've talked to. Also, the creator of the Last Unicorn is apparently aware of the existence of the Heroists. Moreover, the creator of "The Biting Pear" LOVES Mr. Pepper.

And on another semi-related note, Seppel (Maker of Arfenhouse 4 part 1) has officially confirmed that he was the last person who ever saw Misteroo alive and in person some 3-4 years ago. The last project he ever did was apparently a short animated commercial for a collectible card game. After that, he apparently has been trapped in the groinkickvoid/cappa-space with no way out.

Or dead.

And I'm serious about that last part.

well, this was certainly disappointing. I think I would have been better off not watching or participating. :(

I can't believe this is what I'm voting for the most but... it did at least hold my attention, which is more than I can say for the others.

Metal Gear Duck
(none because I had a hand in it. I must say that the ripped graphics rule is really dumb. are we still worried about veteran wars here, too? jesus)

I can't believe people are still complaining about this rule, especially when plenty of contests have had the same rule and in the 13 or so years I've been a part of this community I can never, not even once, think of a single time that anyone complained about a "no ripped graphics" rule in a contest before now.

I don't know what "veteran wars" means.
