What's a Slime Avatar?

A slime avatar is an avatar done in the style of the mascots of this website.

What can be made into a Slime Avatar?

Anything. Your favorite character from an anime, video game, or comic, or even a real life person. Even an inanimate object could be made into a Slime Avatar. It's up to you.

What do I do to get one?

Reply in this thread and post your request! One of our talented artists will fulfill your request.

If you could make a caucasian colored slime with a brown afro and a full beard, that would be sweet. He is the main character from the next game in the Attack Fish series I am working on.

I don't want to change my name or slime, I'm pretty happy with both, but I'm just curious if the old slimes are ever going to be added to the avatar gallery.

I wonder that too, because I've been meaning to change my avatar, but didn't want the Phoenix slime to disappear into oblivion.

If you guys want I can release a hi-res PSD file to use for slimes. Hue-saturation, add features, and you're done.

I could also release the .ai file though because I make all of these in illustrator.

Actually having a few people making the slimes would be nice, we could have an ongoing thread then where people fulfill eachother's requests.

Done like most sprites, btw - I'm actually not at all experienced with Gimp or Illustrator (until I get a tablet PC anyway).

Perhaps an ongoing contest? Make a really cool slime and get slimebucks?
