HamsterSpeak 46 Online

After some obnoxious technical difficulties, we're back online, and just in time for a new issue of HamsterSpeak! Lots of reviews this month, covering everything from old school contest entries to modern ones and from creepy art games to Batman games. Also, you'll get to see Surlaw in a tree.

Thank you for the review of my game? I know it wasn't the best; it was one of the many random games I make when I'm tired of a big project I'm working on. This is just one that happened to be released. Uggh... I don't like it...
I'll tell you this: I certainly didn't tyr TO hard, I just wanted to finish SOMETHING already.
Anyway's, thanks again Pepsi. And I would remake it's just... I forgot my password, something very clumsy. I don't know why I passworded it in the first place, probably just because I could.
And yes, the font is horrible :)

I didn't realize Legendary Heroes was going to get a review. Awesome! I'm really glad to see that people liked the game.
As some of you may know, the game sort of hit a road block. My girlfriend and I broke up, so having her as a main character in the game makes me want to either take her out or abandon the game all together. I haven't really decided what to do yet, but I'm still planning to give the game a big update for Hot Ohr 2: The Reckoning. Any thoughts, advice, or suggestions regarding the game would be welcomed and valued. Feel free to PM them to me to avoid mucking up Surlaw's thread.
Thanks

i didn't even realize you made that game! i recently played it for the hell of it, and thought it was pretty fun, if simplistic. also loved the music (i was delighted to hear "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" as a recurring song for caves, "Tonight, Tonight" for the world map, "1979", and other SP faves)Spoonweaver wrote:I didn't realize Legendary Heroes was going to get a review. sorry to hear about your girlfriend though. my girlfriend recently broke up with me as well. originally, the elf character in my game was named after her, but i changed that before we broke up. i still don't even like looking at the character anymore though. i know it's tough, i've been a mess ever since then (going days without showering, weeks without changing clothes, sleeping away the day, never leaving the house, even on the off-chance that i get the opportunity to) but honestly, it's probably for the better. remember, people don't change for anyone. they just get better at hiding their true selves from others.
anyway, my point is that i hope this doesn't cause you to abandon the game. i'm still curious to see what happens to our oddly green hero (btw, what makes him green? is he a goblin? orc? hardcore vegetarian?)

We actually like it, just appreciating how horrifying it is.Nathan Karr wrote:I don't know what peoples' problem is with the cover.
This "Project B" looks to be interesting.
