Heroes!
So, guess we ought to get ready for the DnD part. Lets put our characters and skills here.
We'll be using the OHR battle system as our system, and freeforming skills and the like. It makes it the most easily convertible, and we're all familiar with it.
I know we all put characters in the "Fail" thread, but let's have them all in one place for easy reference later. I MAAAAY end up making a Wiki for this game, if it gets far along in production. Let's hope! If we get to that point, it'll include the graphics and scenes and all kinds of cool stuff! But that's a bit in the future.
Character Scenes: In the game, we'll probably want to have scenes of our characters doing non-plot related things for individual character development, learning skills Vikings of Midguard style, or sidequests. Any such ideas can go here. I'll work as much as I can into the DnDesque game, but maybe you'll have an idea for a sidequest three weeks after the right time to start it, or something. Likewise, if I say something like "You rest for the night, and are woken up by dogs shooting bees out of their mouths", and someone wanted a scene to have taken place during the night I elided over, it can go here instead of being lost or forcing the game to backtrack or something. It'll be added retroactively into the script.
Stats: When you list your characters, give the stats in rough terms (Strong. Not fast. Inaccurate), since we haven't quite figured out the numbers yet. I plan to start the game by this weekend, so I'll have it at least roughly worked out by then.
Abilities: List any abilities you want your character to have, either in-battle or out. Also any thematic ideas you want (good against undead, etc), and I'll make sure the campaign takes advantage.
Ctr: What are we going to do with this? If anyone has a really cool idea, we'll use that. Otherwise, all I can think of is a "Soul" stat that applies to your unique ability, like Vikings of Midguard has. I don't really want to rip VoM off too much, though.
This post will be edited to include useful information
The stat caps are 999 for HP, and 99 for everything else. The level cap is 30 (though these caps can be increased if needed). I'm statting things out so that characters will hit the caps for their good stats in the high 30s, to leave room for equipment.

Erm...I never really use the Ctr stat so I don't have an idea of what it can be used for...
Anyway:
Name: Dromo (DRO - moo)
Personality: Usually calm, but has a temper in a fight
Visual: Tall, young, dark hair
Stats: Physical Attacks with extra abilities, slow, fair health
Abilities: Buff (increases defense but reduces dodge rate)
Scathe (attacks enemy defence)
Final Blow (an incredibly strong pysical attack with a long wait time)
Kinda used J's stat outline, heh heh. I'll add more for Ulia if we use her. I also havn't been doing the graphics for like 4 days! Sorry, but something was going on, family-wise. It's ok now
.
EDIT:
PRIMARY WEAPON CHOICE: Swords

DJ Funkotron
Personality: crude, whimsical, easy going, oddly harsh
Descrip: A young raver who's magical powers are used in ravertastic ways. His raves are underground and illegal. He resists all establishments. Free love, lots of drugs, dance all night.
Appearance:Glow sticks, floppy top hats, tiny shirt, anime character backpack (frog?), baggy jeans, light up pacifier, large sneakers, lsd, black hair, black eyes, white skin.
Class: Techno Mage
Stats: Normal hp, high mp, low atk, normal def, high magic atk, high dog, normal magic defense
Abilities:
Rave- Increases ally stats {um, not sure which one(s) yet}, stuns caster
Yell- a blast of sonic energy hits all foes ( low damage/small stun chance )
Suggest- A spell that makes an enemy attack one of his allies ( this one might be too much, but I know of a way to do it. I'm just not sure if it'll use up too many resources )
I'd like to design my remaining spells myself, as we go.

The answer is "Import"

Only I can edit the document, but I'll make changes if you want me to. I'm probably going to make a read-only and an editable version of the script as well.

Your Hero apperance specifics like this please, if you have time:
Name:
Height: (Tall, short)
Weight: (Fat, slim, medium)
"Standing" Battle position: (Crouching, forward, looking back)
"Weak" Battle position: (head down, on knee, etc.)
"Dead" Battle position: (laying down, clothes, nothing, just a head
)
This will just help give our heros differences according to how their personalities are, and since we made our own heros/ their personalities I should ask you how they are in a battle.
