Wow, the original keeps sounding better and better... If anyone can direct me to a good site with FF3 MIDI or MP3 music files, than kudos to you.

If that doesn't work, "ff3 nes music torrent" should.

Or if you have no luck at all with that stuff I can convert the actual rom music to .ogg if you would like.

Considering the second page yielded by searching from Google has the whole OST zipped in midi format, I doubt that would be necessary.

I only suggested because midi doesn't really capture the sounds that I like. Uematsu's use of "drums" in FF3 really sets it apart from FF1 and FF2.

That's true (midi sucks anyway, so I'm not sure why people are married to it here).

Another good way to get the music is by downloading the NSF pack off zophar.net and converting it with Winamp and lamedrop.

Songs that are composed on midi are fine, and can sound really great.

But midi representations of songs that aren't midi usually fall quite short of the originals.

Finally! After working (and not working) on ff3 for about 2-4 weeks, I now have a new update available. You can defeat the Djinn and YOU can tell Cid you can help him get to Canaan! The jobs arenot finished yet, with theexception of Luneth -> Warrior. I am litterally workiing on the expanded Mythril Mine RIGHT NOW so expect another update by Weds latest. What kinda kept me from workiing faster was school andthis OTHER game in progress.

Oh noes!

I was checking the extra little things I added to the Mythril Mines and found that the end is unreachable! If you want to find the new thing at the end, download the file I just uploaded.

In case you are wondering, the new thing is a guy who gives items for "Mil", kinda like the pirate guy from DQXI who gives you items for Mini Medals. I will add more items to his shop later.

(! The job "performer (found in the shop) does not yet work!) The sword in the shop is based on a sword this guy has from the new game coming out on Wii called The Last Story, made by a man who helped make Final Fantasy.
(notice anything about the titles? Anyone smell a new era? Or maybe a cheap rip-off...)

I have a lot of music now (thank you JSH. Seems I can't search google myself.) and every map has music. Silence be gone!

Next to do:
~Make Cannan
~Finish new cave that, um, grew in Cannan
~Finish side quest about the dissapearing Air Ships (Did you wonder where Cid's went and why you can't get it?)
~ FINISH JOB CHANGING!! (Uggh...)
~Make Job abilities

I fixed the Mythril Mines problem. Yay. Then I noticed that the title screen was a ... erm ... moogle. That's fixed now, but I wonder how it happened. Probably just a whoops.

Most job abilities are finished now, but you can't get them yet . In due time, my friends....

Sigh.
