GAME is fine.
CUSTOM starts out okay, but gets slower while I use it. After 5 minutes, everything takes forever. I held down "right" in the tile editor and it took about a second to move over each space. When I quit, the little warning dialog box took ages to actually come up.
I'm using Vista 64-bit. I'm not sure else what would be related, but I can give other information as necessary.
Newest nightly CUSTOM is impossible-to-use slow

Do you remember what the last nightly you tested with before this problem appeared was?
I have added this to bugzilla here: http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/bugzilla ... cgi?id=858

If you have some time to kill and are feeling brave, you can binary-search through http://gilgamesh.hamsterrepublic.com/nightly-archive/ and figure out which was the first to have the problem (but if you don't want to that is okay)Mystic wrote:October first... I download the nightlies every month or so. So not much help there.

in case you didn't check the bugzilla, here are some questions that Jay had there:
Jay Tennant wrote: Hmm. I test on a xp 32bit, and win7 64bit, and I can't replicate the behavior.
I'll need more info. Is the app in fullscreen when making the switch? What kind
of graphics? What kind of window is being switched to? Is it consistently
reproducible?
I can test on vista 32bit. Do you have the latest drivers? Is it desktop or
laptop? Is the OS up to date? When was the last time you rebooted?

Oh, I rarely check bugzilla. Perhaps I should start.
Anyway, it's the wip-default, the one you get from the "windows zip file" link. The info line says "20101104 gfx_directx+sdl+fb music_sdl"
It is not fullscreen. Windowed as always. It happens regardless of what I switch to - desktop, browser window, text document, etc. Just making CUSTOM lose focus causes it.
Desktop, Windows Vista 64-bit. Pretty sure all of my drivers are up to date. Computer uptime is at almost 5 days but I doubt this has any effect since nothing else seems to be having problems.
As noted, -gfx sdl works fine, so I've been doing that.
