Batman & Robin

Post by RMZ »

I'm finally feeling like updating this thing. Think I've got all the sound effects for everything that's currently in the game done, and I want to go in and add voice acting for cutscenes and some flavor sound effects. Game has been out a few months, so I don't have a problem listing everyone.

Batman - taken - 50%
Robin - taken - 50%
Alfred - taken
Commissioner Gordon - taken - 100%
Joker - taken
Harley Quinn - taken
Mr. Freeze - taken - 100%
Clayface - taken
Poison Ivy -
Scarecrow - taken
Killer Croc - taken - 100%

Also there is one additional costume that will be the reward of a SECRET additional mission.

Whoever tries out for the Joker needs to be good, haha. I'm not looking for rip offs of any of these from previous incarnations. Hopefully when you reply to this thread you will have played the game and are a little familiar with how I used them in the game. Multiple people can certainly try out if you can make different enough voices. Please don't reply unless you are sincere about helping me out and have the tools needed to record yourself with a file I can open and edit in Audacity. Thanks dudes (hopefully some dudettes as well, ha.).

Not applying, since my microphone is (and has always been) wonky; but for the sake of consistency, the Joker should be played by someone who can pull off a believable Mark Hamill. :kamina:

I'm good with voices. YOU tell ME who you want me to do.

EDIT: Oh and I am serious. I got the TOOLS, I got the TALENT. I think it would be helpful for everyone auditioning if you were to type up some sample lines for each of the characters that you want us to read.

Can you try a Mr. Freeze that doesn't sound like Arnold?

Um...

I definitely want to do this, even though I haven't WON the game yet, but I have a couple limitations...

1: I am a teenager, and sound like a teenager.
2: I'm not a young teenager, either. Let's just say I'm over 16.
3: Not a limitation: I can do all sorts of accents. :kamina:

Robin's the first to come to mind, but how old is he supposed to be? I would think he was like 14, right? I wouldn't mind doing either him or Scarecrow (just cuz I love to hate that guy...), but it's up to you, cuz you're the designer.

My friend in town is going to do Robin, it's easier for me, and less of a huge daunting task to ask of someone else. Can you send me an audition take for Scarecrow?

SCARECROW:Look who it is boys, it's the bat and bird. We were wondering when you would arrive.

MR. FREEZE: Welcome to my chilling hideout Batman! If you're hoping to catch me, my men will turn you and the bird into bat-sicles!

Anyone else that wants to apply is greatly appreciated.

Double posting, don't really care, ha.

Updated the list of who I need based on who is definitely doing which voices. All I need now are:

Commissioner Gordon (should have this one, but still listing just in case, you need to pretty much be an old dude to do this one)

Harley Quinn
Mr. Freeze
Clayface
Poison Ivy

When Surlaw applied he just did random phrases for his line tests. It's easier for me if you could do the same. I only need a few more and then we'll have all the va covered.

Surlaw already sent me a demo for Scarecrow. Could you do one of the ones that aren't listed as taken by chance?

I guess I'm doing Mr. Freeze. I've never seen the Arnold one, (I know... *gasp!*), so I think I can do an original voice.

Awesome. Marked you down. If push comes to shove, I can do Clayface, but I definitely need a female to do Poison Ivy.

Pepsi Ranger's Clayface is dead on. It's perfect, haha. Just need Ivy now.
