Apologies for the delays. Issue 17 is up! http://superwalrusland.com/ohr/issue17/cover.html

We've got lots of reviews this month (Thank you MBS) and two massive features; one by Pepsi Ranger, looking at the games of the 8-Bit Contest, and one by Fenrir, looking at the world of Sword of Jade.

I thought this issue had the best content we've seen in forever.

The House Heroes review was very well written, and I'm able to take some things away from that to incorporate into Week 4.

Pepsi Ranger's review of Mr.Triangle's Maze was also quite awesome.

A great issue. I'm a big fan of Terrible Game Reviews as usual, and I liked the Memoria retrospective.

Great issue. I loved the 8-Bit Contest reviews and am looking forward to Pepsi Ranger's next blitz.

I didn't want to put it as a demo review, so grasping for something to call it, I went with "an episodic show review", which doesn't really roll off the tongue so well, and I guess Surlaw changed the line.

It's mainly the a/an error that sticks out.

Although overall I am happy with my work for this issue, I hope to continue to improve the content and depth of my reviews. I noticed that with my older reviews, such as Memoria, seemed a bit dry on content compared to others.

I plan to work on that more for next month's issue.

I think when I was playing it, I had movies like Get Smart and Entrapment in mind. Plus, when I think of prone stances, I think of crawling under stuff. Crouching is generally used for crawling behind stuff.

Anyway, I tried the game again and got down to the last wire. I think the "X" sensitivity and not realizing I was standing upright until it was too late are what got me the most recent time. But I at least know where the two goals are.

I'm glad one of us is looking forward to it...

Given the subject matter of the next one, I've got my work cut out for me. August is a good month to procrastinate, I think.

I was not aware of a boss, honestly. I'll have to give it another go sometime.
