Game of the Month - April voting/May nominations

Post by Mogri »

March's winner

Congratulations to Spoonweaver! Slimes is March's Game of the Month.

April voting

Vote now for the April 2010 Game of the Month!

The following games have been omitted from voting at the author's request:
- Phantom Tactics
- Village People: The Video Game
- Tightfloss Maiden

You are free to re-nominate any of the above games, but they will not make the ballot unless circumstances change.

May nominations

If your favorite game isn't on the poll (or even if it is), nominate it for next month's! It only takes two nominations to put a game on the ballot. You can nominate up to three games.

Remember, any game is eligible -- it doesn't have to be new. The only restriction is that the game has to be hosted on Slime Salad and the game cannot have already been Game of the Month (even if it has been updated since).

Voting and nominations end on the 25th.

I'd like to renominate:
-Don't eat soap
-Okedoke
-bloodlust
-Slime wars
Depending on who wins this month. These are all great games and deserve some attention.

( some nominations removed due to limitations )

P.S. What happened to the "special game of the month box"? I was really looking forward to showing that to people. You're working on it right?

Yes. Right now, I'm working on Crystal Chasers, which is like an hour away from being finished or something. I will get your game shiny-like on the front page/top of the gamelist/wherever I decide to put it once I'm done with that.

Also: "You can nominate up to three games." If you want to make your nominations conditional upon this month's winner, that's fine, but even if we have a four-way tie for GOTM, only one game's going to win (chosen randomly, probably), so you have way too many nominations right now.

Inspired by a game I played recently, I'll nominate some of the stranger OHR games out there.

-[<3]
-Bob the Hamster in the Crypt of Baconthulu
-Bloodlust

Nominating Crystal Chasers and Bell of Chaos, and also re-nominating The Slime Wars (or Okédoké, if Slime Wars gets a sudden surge of votes toward the end and wins this month.)

SLIMES! now appears in its own brand-new section on the front page. If the game were to have an attached image, that would appear as well (hint, hint).

Don't forget to throw in your nominations by the 25th!

Hurray! I feel special!

The picture seems a tad big. It might just be my computer configuration though.

Also, I feel like I got screwed by being first, since my game missed the first 10 days of it's month. But, I suppose Slimes has got and will get it's fair share of attention.

You're right. It's 25% smaller now.

Anyway, if it makes you feel any better, I'll probably forget to update the GOTM until a few days into April :hurr:
