Just a reminder to all contestants that your entries can still be used for the Cliffhanger Contest if it fits the requirements. Might help with planning your ending.

Zelda did it first! One of the GBC Oracle ones, I think, but I can't really remember.

But yeah, I like those puzzles. One of them in this game is a doozy.

Behold, the Light dungeon!

Image

You have a lot of mirrors, a lot of targets, and a single light source. This may be my favorite dungeon.

The game is about 75% done at this point. I really need to figure out what I'm doing with Shade, though.

Anyone know any good puzzles involving shadows or similar?

I think the Oracle games also had that one kind of puzzle where your shadow (?) separates from your body and steps on a precise order of tiles that you must then follow to progress.

I also think that I prtty much hated that puzzle. >:(

Congratulations on maybe semi-inspiring the actual dungeon design.

There's a lot going on in the Shade dungeon. The party splits up to get through, reminiscent of Kefka's Castle or the Phoenix Cave in FF6. In addition, there are a lot of platforms that keep appearing and disappearing.

I'm wrapping up the game's ending now. Playtesters, watch your inboxes!

Execllent Hyping Mog! I'm really looking forward to your game.

Fnrrfy, with the small amount of info I have on your game, I'm a bit wary.

Shiz, all you've is a face, and asked "who is she?" I believe. I must admit, I'm fairly curious of who she is.

The rest of you, HYPE MORE!

Sadly, I don't think I'll be entering this contest after all. I've been slacking a lot on my ohr stuff lately and at this moment OHRegon trail is nothing but a few sprites/tiles and some pieces of code. There's just not enough time left so I've decided to scrap the project for now rather then launch a subpar game as I have before. (I would have liked to enter the cliff hanger contest at least, but I still haven't thought of any good ideas for that.) For now, I'm just going to try and finish the projects I have on my desk already, and of course focus more on school.

Sorry to hear that we won't be seeing OHRegon Trail. I hope you get time to do it some day though. It would be a really cool homage to a classic. :)

@James: competition! :o

@Spoonweaver: thanks! :D

The bad news is that I will be unable to enter Crystal Chasers into the Cliffhanger Contest. The good news is that it's finished, yay! If you are a playtester, check your inbox. Everyone else gets to wait a couple of days.

Man, I'm glad I'm not entering this year, I think it's going to be a landslide (like last year, haha).

There's always the Terrible Games Contest to win. Unless James enters that too >_<

Really looking forward to finding out what exactly is going on in that picture James.

Also looking forward to see Surlaw's entry that he's so sure is going to lose now. (I'm sure you'll do great)

Horse Game is significantly shorter than I'd planned it to be, but it's DONE. There are six stages and yes there is an ending.
