ah, i see the voting is still ongoing. i'll try playing the games and vote if i have time before voting is over. good to see that a good number of people participated!

(if, when the voting is over, i don't notice immediately, james or someone, pm or email me (rinkuhero at gmail) to remind me to give out the prizes to those voted complete.)

James, if you're going to officially extend the voting period, you might want to do it now. Right now, it looks like only 3 people voted.

Voting is oficially extended until Oct 18th.

So far I have received votes from exactly <s>one</s> two voters.

So, is there anybody who *wants* to vote who hasn't voted yet? I extended the deadline until today, but I have still only received exactly 2 votes. Also, I still haven't finished playing all the games myself.

Since nobody is showing any signs of impatience for me to declare winners, I would be very happy to extend the voting deadline even further.

Thoughts?

I got through about half of the games. I don't know if those votes would be helpful and I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to do the rest anytime soon.

GODDAMNIT!!

Am I the only person who cares about this contest? I've been hoping to hear the results since the 1st. Maybe you should do a system where everyone who's voting late gets a percentage cut off of their vote, so they have less weight.

I've been waiting until the results were announced to say this, but it's relevant:
Next time you have this contest, ASSIGN JUDGES!

Y'know, I haven't worked on my game since submitting it. I told myself "if it scores well, I'll definitely want to work on it!"

Yeah. The everybody-votes model works nicely for contests that produce small games, but for a big-game contest like this, it doesn't work so well.

Of course I could just declare the vote closed tonight. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the votes I have already recieved, and I did already extend the voting time once.

And personally I like playing games a lot more than I like ranking them, so now that I think about it I won't be too heartbroken if I don't have to vote myself :)

Unfortunately, I didn't have as much time as I thought I'd have to play all the games... unless nobody cares about the voting, would it be okay for me to send in my last minute votes by say... Tuesday morning? (ie. Tues, 4am)

I'd really like to play but I've been really busy with work and school, but I already have some of the games downloaded.
