That 'retrospective' was a complete waste of time. -_-

This is the end of the series. It needed a clip show somewhere.
RedMaverickZero wrote:The same thing happened with Nathan's sprite, he has brown around half of his sprite.
That's the way you colored the sprite.

In any case, I fixed both of the known color bugs.

Results of the vote so far have been surprising to say the least. We'll see how it ends up! (Expect results next Sunday btw)

I was totally afraid that the 'roll was going to loop by the time the clips from the second season were almost done. :o

It wasn't even supposed to be funny. Maybe vaguely amusing. I thought the song fit the scene (and I daresay the theme of the show), so I used it. For the record, several people have told me they felt the same way.

This is seriously why I get tired of making games for you people after a while. You're too damn negative about little things sometimes.

The rest of the episode was fine for what it was (although the clip show part felt way longer than it needed to be) but there's literally nothing on the internet more overplayed right now than Never Gonna Give You Up (and internet aside it's leaked into "non-internet" places in very obnoxious ways). It's hard for me not to have a negative reaction to it.

There have also been far more positive reactions in this thread than negative ones. You also shouldn't make something if it's not fun for you, making it "for us" is kind of silly.

I'm not even about to address Part 1. Giz said it better than me:

<TheGiz> If JSH had used any other song but Rick Roll, it wouldn't quite be as true. It's a good song, it fits the theme. You can't be OH GOD RICKROLL everytime the song comes on the radio
<TheGiz> There's a joking context to it, but this wasn't it. He didn't even try to play up the whole Rick Roll angle, and lord knows he could've

I enjoy making the show. I wouldn't have come back if I didn't. I'm just saying one of the reasons I get tired of working on it (and other OHR games I've started on) occasionally is people bitching about minor things or flat out ignoring positives. It's not everyone; not even the majority. I'm just sick of people in this community acting like someone's a thirteen year old because they don't like one aspect of his work.

In particular, Surlaw, you haven't commented on the show at all since the first episode, then you come back when it's almost done and make it sound like one joke you dislike ruins the whole thing. It's a little irritating, that's all.

Edit: And I'm dropping it. I'm tired of stupid OHR drama! CHOO-CHOO!

I haven't heard that song on the radio played unironically in a very, very long time. You're massively over-reacting to me saying I didn't like one part of one episode.

I've been watching the show in chunks and I usually don't get around to an episode until it's already old (the last one I'd watched before today was 5). I've enjoyed it, but it's more enjoyable to me watching it this way than the "right" way. I did the same thing with the last two shows. Since I actually saw this one while it was new I felt able to comment. This was my primary reaction to the newest episode.

That's fine. I'm just under a lot of stress and liable to explode at any moment.

Seriously though, this has been my favorite of the three seasons. The parts I dislike stand out more because the rest has improved so much. I just really hate internet memes, and whether that's what you were going for or not, when you get exposed to it every day it's hard not to think of them that way.

For Battleblaze's sake, I have released a midi-only version of the show. I'm not sure if anyone else needed this, but it's up now. I'll continue to do these updates for week 9 (Week 9 coming soon, I swear.)

I've still been unable to work on the show, but here's some goofy speculation from IRC: (Note: I have NO PLANS to make a fourth season)

<JSH357> OHR House: Bathrooms of Babylon
<JSH357> i think 8 housemates would be enough honestly
<JSH357> since the show always stalls at week 6 anyway
<JSH357> might as well make it just 7 weeks
[16:24] <JSH357> hawk's already established but he could be an insider
[16:24] <Hachi> (sure you're not)
[16:24] <JSH357> so Moogle1, Newbie Power, Hachi as a housemate, Konami, Hawk, Twinhamster, Iblis
[16:24] <JSH357> and... a girl
[16:24] <JSH357> Mariel, the new person on CP
Other choices:
[16:15] <JSH357> chaos nyte-unless he wins
[16:15] <JSH357> setu firestorm
[16:15] <JSH357> rya reisender
[16:16] <JSH357> chenzi
