Sweet! The first thing I thought when I saw was a new post on Games was you released House 3 finally... awesome!
EDIT: I'm downloading it right now, and I noticed the file size is larger than the last two Houses. I don't think this will be a problem for those who have high speed internet, but for those who don't, this might become tedious to download every time a new week comes out.

Well... they'll have to suck it up. :( Shouldn't be too many more oggs to add to the game, so hopefully the filesize won't expand by much more.
I might make an all-midi version after it's over, but for now I'm not worrying about it.

Bena is my favorite character so far. White Mage seems like a one note joke and was old before the first day. Aside from her, Sephy was my least favorite. Really obnoxious, but not in a funny way. Xerian was the least interesting, but Bena shoving the bread in his mouth was great. The cat loaf carpet was lovely. The voting screen was incredible.
The amount of people still using dial-up today, especially among a community such as this, is so minor that it would be silly to cater to them. 9 MB is a tiny download nowadays, even if it's large for an OHR game.Lonely Rolling Star wrote:EDIT: I'm downloading it right now, and I noticed the file size is larger than the last two Houses. White Mage has more to her, but it won't be apparent yet. Enjoy chipper CN while it lasts.

I personally thought every single character brought something great to the table. At this point in the game, my favorite character is Nathan. He's so dumb and quirky, but vigilant none the less. I honestly had to sit and think hard about who to vote for. I've said it to him once, but this was a great episode and seems alot more promising than the last season was. I'm eager to see who is getting booted this week.

The first episode was funny as slime. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw CN and BB in the slave room!
And then the bathroom...
Overall this was a great start humor-wise, but some of the characters are not all that interesting. For example, RMSephy I thought was going to be pretty awesome, but he's turned out lamer than I thought. Jack and Fenrir don't really stand out in any way, Battleblaze and Chaos Nyte are the more interesting characters so far. I like the use of sound effects. I thought it was cool that Hachi-Roku has a voice now that sound effects are possible, but it kinda ruined how I imagined him to sound (I imagined he sounded more girly because I initially thought his NPC was a smiling face with a bow). Not complaining though, it's fine as is.

The worst thing about this game is that even though the Nathan Karr character is funny, it's probably going to cause the real Nathan Karr to make more terrible posts and threads than ever before, especially if the character stays around/becomes popular. If there's a big twist in his personality in the game, he'll probably adopt that new personality on the forums.
I'm liking this a lot so far!
Nathan Karr is great, which after JJ last season I didn't expect at all. He's my favorite right now I'd say. I'm not sure about my vote yet.
I'm glad that BB isn't just Giz v3.0, all the slave stuff is pretty funny. The scene about the bathrooms was great.
Please fix WM's sprite.
A minor note: the backstory in the readme file is out of date, it only goes up to the start of season 2.

I replayed the episode, a couple of things I noticed:
* Nathan Karr is standing right by the picture of the KKK dude (on day two). Done intentionally to imply something I wonder?
* Who is White Mage? Is this going to be another Princess Lana?
* What is Chaos Nyte up to? Why is he suddenly so... HAPPY?
* OHR House 1 is in the same zip as House 3.
* When CN talks about playing darts to Sephy, they're both right in between BB. Did he mention playing darts for a reason? CN > > > BB < < < Sephy
That's it for now.

Xerian and Battleblaze both annoyed the heck out of me. My favorites, thus far, are myself(naturally), Fenrir, and CN.
Bena had his moments, though the best part of him or Xerian was the bread gag. I really don't want to eliminate either of them nearly so much as both, because they'd both be so abominable without eachother.

Remeber: God made you special and he loves you very much. Bye!

14 votes so far. Finally, it looks like the show actually has an audience again. Keep 'em coming. I still haven't gotten votes from a few OHR users who I know will want to. I might close the poll after I get back from my trip on Sunday.
