The final journal/review of Okedoke (Chapter 6 and the complete Burger Kingdom) will also be released soon. Meatballsub has agreed to publish the final installment in the series (and back-publish the others for consistency) in the wake of HamsterSpeak shutting down during Okedoke's last leg of production.

Progress update: Have been slowed down a bit due to the fact that I have a job now (which takes up several hours of my time at least every other day)... but on the other hand, I've also fully recovered from how horrible this summer was and have more motivation to actually work on stuff.
Currently I'm almost done with the new additions to Okédoké (just got one of the two new later-game sidequests done!--this one accessible from Chapter 5, making Chapter 5's secret area a bit more substantial rather than just a tiny little "pit stop" town with nothing much to do. And the other sidequest, accessible from Beaverfoot in Chapter 6, just needs one more scripted scene at the end before it'll be finished.) Once I've got both of those done and made sure there aren't any smaller things I forgot to do in various parts, I'll be giving the new stuff one last testing playthrough and then uploading the final version of the game.
Which should happen before the end of the week, if I keep going at the rate I'm going right now!

I underestimated just how much time my job would take out of Okédoké testing, heh... but still, I'm just about done now.
All the new stuff I've added so far (including an optional boss in Chapter 1, a new area in Chapter 2, a few new bits in Chapter 3, the improved version of the Mayor of Beaverfoot's quiz, and new sidequests in Chapter 5 and Chapter 6) have been tested out and had some bugs fixed.
Now all that's left is to finish making stats for a new item and hide it somewhere (probably either in Chapter 3 or early Chapter 4), come up with a name for the boss of Chapter 6's new sidequest, and add one more scene to the post-ending sequence... once that stuff's out of the way everything should be done and ready for people to download and play... finally!
Here's a few more screenshots:

These updates look great. Even though I finished the game already, these additions get me interested in running through the whole experience again. Not sure if the community yet realizes just how detailed and adventurous this game is.
For everyone else, the Chapter 6 review is finally online, courtesy of Meatballsub. For those of you who remember, HamsterSpeak hosted the reviews of Chapters 1-5 (Issues 29, 30, and 35), but thanks to its closing two years ago, it appeared that the journal's finale would never happen. Well, it did, and it's up now. For your convenience, I asked Meatballsub to host the other five chapters along with six so that the continuity could remain intact, and so you could have quick reference to those older articles.
Obviously the review won't reflect the last-minute additions that FnrrfYgmSchnish has worked on, but it will give you a fair idea what to expect in the final chapter and the overall feel of the completed game. Hope it encourages you guys to give it a fair run.
Here's the final journal entry:

Chapters 1-5 are linked within the page if you need to recap. Enjoy.

The game is done (and uploaded) now. However, the forum seems to have done something screwy in the process--the title is not showing up in the "Games" subforum listing, so it's impossible to click on it from there! I definitely did put a title in the "subject" box when submitting the new version (the title and description were deleted when I uploaded the new ZIP file before I submitted the updated description, but I put them back), so this seems to be a glitch with the forum itself.
EDIT: And going in and editing it to put the title back in... doesn't seem to work. I filled in the blank title bar with "Okédoké! La Leyenda Mexicana" and then submitted that, and... no change. What the heck?
Until this is fixed, here's a link to the game page: www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?p=50368

Thanks!
I had a brief suspicion that the é might be why, since only the title kept getting blanked and nothing else (I know some other sites don't accept the accented letters in titles; DeviantArt for example, everything has to be "Okedoke," "Pokemon," etc. without the accents there), but I figured it was something else because... well, they worked before.
Wonder what could've made the forum's handling of accented letters "break" after working okay for so long? I honestly have no clue as to how forums are programmed so I can't even come up with a vague guess there.

Congratulations!
I've downloaded and played for a couple minutes. Reminds me why this was such a great game. I haven't played any of the updates since the first demo, always using the excuse that I'd wait for the full version. Now I must play it eventually :) Besides, at this point I've actually mostly forgotten what other games were on my to-play list!

Um... I honestly haven't thought about that.
I still use an old-people phone (the kind that flips open and has 0-9 buttons instead of a keyboard), so I haven't really looked into smartphone stuff at all. And I'm only vaguely aware of what an OUYA is, and only because it gets mentioned semi-frequently around here. XD
How easy/hard would it be to port the game to those formats? Anything I'd need to change around in the game itself for it to work without any problems?

Here is what you would need to do:
* Go to "Edit General Game Data" -> "Platform Specific Options" and turn on the option that says "Touch Textboxes"
* Edit your main menu and add a new menu item, and change its type to "Special" and it subtype to "Margins" this is for people playing the game on a television. some TV's have a hidden area around the edge, but some don't. The "Margins" menu item is invisible when you play on a PC, it only appears on Android/OUYA
Then everything beyond that is just work that I need to do to package it for you. You send me the rpg file, some icon files, and some information about you for your signing certificate http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce ... id_For_You
Then I will give you an apk file, and you can upload it to the Google Play store and the OUYA store.
Also, if you want to sell the game rather than making it free, there are a few other options to look at.

I assume it wouldn't be quite legal to sell Okédoké (mainly because of the music, which is mostly from other games and such, though I suppose getting sued by some cereal company for making Cap'n Crunch into a murderous gangster is another somewhat-unrealistic possibility. XD)
Doesn't seem too hard, though. Just a few Custom settings and some graphics for phone buttons and such.
What does it look like when someone plays an OHR game on a phone/OUYA, though? Any example screenshots floating around? I know I looked at the wiki page you linked which showed the example button images, so I'd definitely want to make my own D-pad/button sprites so I don't have "phone-ish/keyboard-y" stuff clashing horribly with the 8-bit-ness of the actual game... but I've never looked into this stuff so I honestly don't have a clue where these things would show up on-screen, how big they would show up relative to the game itself, etc...

You draw them yourself and they overlay like this: https://lh5.ggpht.com/S-p_5NmAxJ3idI5If ... AozbV=h900

Thanks for the screenshot. I hadn't seen one before, so I wasn't sure if they were overlaid over the OHR game itself, in their own bar at the side or bottom of the screen, or what.
Do they show up in the same spots outside of battle too? I can see that being a little awkward at times, having big ol' buttons overlaid over the map all the time, though probably not a real problem since they're in the corners and the hero's walkabout is usually centered.
I'm assuming they vanish during textboxes (just going by the fact that there's a "touch textboxes" option that I'd need to enable to put my game on these platforms, and if they didn't they'd be overlapping the spots where text usually is), but do they also go away whenever player control is disabled? It'd look really, really odd to have something like the ending credits sequence of Okédoké with buttons hovering on the screen throughout.

"Touch Textboxes" is required to make the controls vanish when a textbox is displayed (although there is an exception for choiceboxes and textboxes that are displayed at the same time as scripted menus)
Controls don't vanish automatically when custscenes happen, but in all the games I have played on android so far, that has not been a problem.
The position of the controls on the screen is an imitation of the controls used for NES/SNES/Gameboy emulators on phones.
As for OUYA,that is connected to your TV and played with controllers, so the onscreen controls are completely disabled on it.
I doubt the Captain Crunch thing is much of a risk because it is obviously a parody, but if most of the music is ripped, you might not be able to get it on the OUYA store, they are much more strict about that kind of thing than Google Play is.
