Ernest Gary Gygax, the creator of Dungeons and Dragons, passed away on Tuesday from an abnormal anneurism. He was 79.
I was going to post this yesterday, but I put it off for too long so I guess I'll do it now. Gary Gygax can be considered by many the father of modern roleplaying. I think at least in the OHR community, his passing should have some impact. Without him roleplaying may not be as it is today.
Rest in peace, man, and God bless.

This topic may be old'd, but I was kind of :\ when I heard about this a few months back.
Look at D&D 4.0. It really doesn't seem like any of his original ideals are intact, in my opinion. They removed Monk and Bard for godsake.
Atleast there's still a huge calling for the earlier additions that he had more control over.
