Haha! Awesome. I don't know if I'll ever finish HQ3. It's more of an epic long RPG as opposed to just an epic RPG. I dunno, if I get motivated enough, I'm sure I'll work on it some more, I did end right where the heroes go into the Arfenhouse esque world.
Glad you guys are liking my shots. In regards to the outfits, I decided the easiest way to make them accessible is just simply by getting the 100% achievement in either Batman or Robin. It's a simple but fun reward. The mission in the zoo is a secret mission, apart from the main quest.

The new-and-improved walkabouts for FYS:AHS are getting pretty close to being finished (only 4 old walkabouts left to replace!), so I figured I'd post some up here.
The old ones were pretty bad, but I think these are probably the best walkabouts I've ever made. What I was going for is a combination of Okédoké/Puckamon-style sprites and 2006 Fnrrf Ygm Schnish-style sprites, and I think I actually managed to get it right this time.
On the left: Eddie, Joguo, Bridget, Jay, and Damuru-J. On the right: Pugh, Adam, Matsu, Tijje, and Sarah.
Bridget and Sarah should look familiar to people who've reached the Burger Kingdom area in Okédoké. The two games do take place in the same universe, though they happen several years apart (FYS:AHS is set in 2003, Okédoké in 2008) and there's not really any crossover'ing between the two games at all, other than the Swarm appearing in Okédoké.

About the dangling hair: I like how it turned out in the left/right-facing sprites, but yeah, it does look a bit funky on the down-facing one. Not much of a surprise there--I've always had a hard time getting that hair to look right on down-facing Bridget sprites.
I can't see how moving it more to one side would make the down-facing sprite look any better, and I'm pretty sure it would make the left/right-facing ones look a lot worse in the process... so that wouldn't be much of a solution.
Not sure about making it shorter... the long dangly hair on the left/right sprites is probably my favorite thing about them. I did have it a bit shorter in the 2006 version than it is now, though. It might make it a bit easier to deal with on the down sprite, but... I dunno.
I might change it on the down-facing sprite to look more like how it is in Okédoké, so it'd be straight all the way down her face and then curve a bit to one side at the bottom. I think the biggest problem with it right now is probably the way it goes kinda diagonal-ish across her face.
Getting rid of it definitely isn't an option, though... it's been part of Bridget's character design since 2002. Getting rid of it now would be like shaving off Mario's moustache.

FnrrfYgmSchnish, moving it to the side doesn't mean you'll have to move it in the sideviews. it's kind of like a perspective trick; such as you know when rpg characters with a bandana have the tie to the side at the front but otherwise it is at the back? It's to get the right idea down.
So like, you move it to the side next to or right over one of her eyes, then it isn't stuck right in the middle of her face. There's no way to just redraw it where it is and make it better, you need to change something or she comes off looking dumb.

Yeah, it's exactly the same as my old avatar... but better.I like your new avatar.
It's actually one of the new portraits for FYS:AHS (and my old avatar was the old one for the same character.) Now that I'm done remaking them, I'll go ahead and post a few as a preview...
Same characters as the walkabouts, except the guys from the left column are now on the top row instead.
Still not perfect, but they're a pretty big improvement over the old ones (not as much of an improvement as the walkabouts, but still) and I'm fairly happy with how they turned out.
Also, Bridget's random dangly hair doesn't seem to be a problem at all in the portrait graphics--I'm guessing it was just the tiny size of walkabouts that was causing trouble with that.
Oh, okay. I see what you're talking about now--for some reason I thought you were just suggesting to make it always on one side, rather than just on the down sprite (kinda like how Sarah's ponytail works: it's visible on the down sprite so you can see that she has one, even though it's completely behind her on the up sprite.)FnrrfYgmSchnish, moving it to the side doesn't mean you'll have to move it in the sideviews. it's kind of like a perspective trick; such as you know when rpg characters with a bandana have the tie to the side at the front but otherwise it is at the back? Here's more Bridgets:
Left was the original sprite, middle was my first attempt at fixing the dangly hair, and right is the most recent one with the hair going over one of her eyes instead of straight down the middle. Does it look any better now?

Those portraits are great.
Personally I like the middle walkabout. The hair really is obtrusive, but I get the feeling it is *supposed* to be obtrusive. Like she has the idea stuck in her head that it looks cool, and so she insists on wearing it that way, in spite of the inconvenience of having it in front of her face all the time.

Fnnrfyglablah, I am impress
Those are even better than the ones in Okedoke
EDIT: Waaaitaminute, am I seeing things or is Bridget's portrait-face a little lopsided. On the right side of her hair thingy that I kind of want to cut off. It's, like, one Y-pixel off or something.
