Talk about things that are not making games here. But you should also make games!

Please include Misa in Wandering Hamster. Bob's relationship with her should be further continued.
I don't plan on any continuity of canon between Wandering Hamster and Crypt of Baconthulhu. That is not to say I won't be using Misa again, but I don't think she fits into the story for Wandering Hamster (at least, not in any major role)

I do really want to expand her role in Crypt of Baconthulhu. Right now she is basically a glorified plot-event-trigger. What I really want is for her to be a more developed character.

* I want her to make comments to Bob about various things you do while playing.
* I want her to be able to equip and auto-use potions on you (which will have the effect of making you MUCH stronger, and will allow me to make stronger monsters you have to fight)
* I want hero to participate in the conversations you have with the Cultists
* I want to add a "Talk to Misa" option to the main menu, so you can open up a conversation tree with her at any time.
* I want to expand/lengthen the "Good" ending to include her more.

The TGC contest did wonders for my motivation, but now that it is over I am having a hard time getting myself to work on anything :P

EDIT: Also, I'll probably have to change her name somewhat if I include her in Wandering Hamster. "the Hamster" is Bob's surname, and I do plan on adding a large number of his siblings to Flanat village eventually. I don't want her to seem like she is his sister. Misa von Hamsterling? Misa du 'Amster? Misa Hamsterpherson?

You could make her a gerbil, no one would think they were related then. And I think the idea of a gerbil and a hamster having "marriage" isn't really that crazy.

My other idea for a possible love interest for Bob is a cat. I like the idea of an interspecies relationship, and the difficulties their respective families would have with their perceived inherent incompatibilities. I can see /hypothetical feline girlfriend/'s overbearing father ranting about whether his grandchildren will be predator or prey.

Also, "hypothetical feline girlfriend" would be an awesome name for an dance/electronica band.

I like the idea of an interspecies relationship
Oddly enough, this is a theme common to at least 60% of my games(those that dont have it tend to not have any romance in them).

In any case, I find it hard to define fictional characters as separate "species" from eachother, given their almost-universal inter-fertility. After all, if they can produce fertile offspring with eachother then they're the same species.

Also, I never figured Havoc was a bear.

Except for disney characters, which produce nieces and nephews through a process that I can only assume is akin to asexual budding in plants.

Originally he was human, but he was super-hard to draw that way, so I decided to switch him to be a bear, which matches his character nicely, and is a heck of a lot more fun to draw. I haven't finished updating his sprites in Wandering Hamster yet.

Hamster in

Finnish: hamsterin

and in

Italian: criceto. Misa Criceto has a nice ring, doesn't it?

In all the other languages I can find, hamster is just hamster.
