So I just got done uploading somekindaninja, which is here:

It's a zelda type game.

It's very far from done, however I got to the point where I wasn't really sure how to proceed. So, I was thinking I could use help, lots of it.
Mostly with graphics, story and music, but also anything else.

So, if you want to team up please let me know.

Oh, and in case lots of people want to ( i doubt it :( ) I really only want 1-2 so sorry in advance if you get turned down.


also, I'd be willing to colab on anything other project you might have

Plays really nicely from what I've tried.
My only complaint would be that the sword swings too slowly.
The charging beam is neat, though.

Reminds me of Smokey McGoo...which is actually a little glitchier than I remembered.

Pretty neat. I enjoyed the non-tile based movement and the general feel of your attacks. Only glitch I caught is the beam attack seems to bounce off of walls, unless that was intentional.

As far as collaborating, I don't really have much to offer these days with so much school, but if you are interested I was working on a game that was similar and I happen to have a copy of it with the source code (Adventures in Psuedo). Let me know if you want a copy of it.

it was not intentional, it was laziness. lol. I plan to fix that a much more in the game thats being made out of this.

cool, I wouldn't mind looking at it. I'm sure it's a great place to get ideas.

As far as colab'ing goes. me and vampiducki have joined forces to make what will perhaps be the greatest zelda'ish game for OHR ever. So even though I won't easily turn down people that want to help. I assure you the job has been filled.

spoonweaver, at first glance apon you entering the community i thought, "zoh my god, this guy doesnt know what hes doing".

but that was well before i played any of your games. you know FAR more about plotscript than i do. however, staying honest you lack in the graphics area.


anyways, ive been working on a small zelda style zombie game. but i havnt plotscripted even a intro since like, 2 years ago. please please PLEASE saaaaave me D:. togeather we can make something pretty sweet im sure.

i dont mind coming over to your house spoonweaver and telling you how much of a failure you are at life and how much i hate you. but i usually do that on thursdays, so mayhaps i will leave you alone for a couple days. also, im going on vacation soon...

As insulting as I found most of your comment, I suppose I could help you. I'd like to point out, that MY somekindaninja game is open sourced, so You might find a lot of what you need in the script there, but if you need more help then that, go ahead and pm me here on slime salad.
