i'll sign up. i already have an idea for a game that i've been contemplating for awhile.

i hope someone else decides to sign up, otherwise we're looking at an uneven amount of entrants.
Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy... So here's some lunchmeat... Sandwich, maybe?

Well actually, right now we have an even 12 if my count is correct.

But just to clarify, I'll be signing up myself if their are an odd number of contestants and I won't be signing up if their are an even number. So there's no real fear of there being a person without a random team member.
So don't worry.

Also, the dead line to sign up is still set at October 10th.

Are there any other last minute entries or withdraws?

What happens if someone's paired with someone who has pretty much dropped out but has not said so?

Then that person will experience what most people do when entering a colab. Some times your partner bails. This is also part of the contest.

Hopefully this contest will bring together at least 1 team that will actually work together well and hopefully want to work together in the future.

Indeed Master K, it is now time to choose the teams.
This great decision will effect the outcome of the whole contest, and therefore must be done as randomly and yet fairly as possible. To show that I'm keeping things random, I am posting a picture to help explain my method of choosing.

So, using this these randomly generated series of numbers, and the list from the first post of this thread.
Official Contestants Thus Far:
Voltire
Master K
charbile
Nathan Karr
marionline
J_Taylor
SDHawk
Gizmog
thespazztikone
mjohnson092088
I formed the teams as follows:

Team 1: Gizmog & Nathan Karr

Team 2: Charbile & marionline

Team 3: Voltie & SDHawk

Team 4: the spazztikone & mjohnson092088

Team 5: J_Taylor & MasterK

GOOD LUCK!

Okay, Spoonweaver didn't mention this at the beginning, but I'm going to make the following addition to the rules because I can. >:(

Every week, all of you need to submit a journal entry here detailing your progress on your game and how you're getting along with your partner. Don't be afraid to post your honest opinion about each other, even though the journal entries will be completely public and your partner will be able to see exactly what you're writing about him. The journal entries may or may not be used for a future OHR documentary titled "Collab House".

Sephy, this is an awesome idea.

Captain's Log, Stardate 2011;10,10

I was hoping to be matched with someone interesting, and NathanKarr certainly fits the bill. I think we've both got kind of a goofy sense of humor and similliar artistic styles but I don't *really* know that much about him, what kind of games he likes to make. He's in IRC which is a huge convenience and I'm fairly confident as soon as we get an idea we'll be able to carry it all the way to the end zone and score a touchdown.

I was initially paired up with Charbile, but the studio execs nixed the idea.. good thing too, I totally flushed a towel down his toilet.

Day One of Sid and M_Johnson's Gaming Log:

Results came in today. I'm paired up with that M_Johnson guy. Not sure what his gaming deal is, but hopefully it'll work out. This seems like the perfect time to dish out some sweet metal riffage into an OHR game. Maybe a good time to start working on my other (not so secret anymore) project, Mechanix? I don't know. Maybe, just maybe. It'll work out even better it M_Johnson decides to step up to IRC or another chat-type place with me to sort out what we need.

Well, gotta keep rockin'. Do or die. Aces High.
