This is the official thread for
THE OHR 2012 RANDOM COLAB CONTEST


Basically, You sign up, and after the 10th of October you'll get a partner who also signed up. (If there is an odd number of people that sign up, I'll enter to make all the teams even.) You and your partner will then work together to make an OHR game. The entry has to be given the ok by both partners to be excepted. The due date will be July 1st 2012.

There will be a cash prize based on the number of participates. The prize will be 10 dollars for every PERSON that submits an entry past the second. (So if there are 5 games entered the prize will be 60 dollars.)
First place will not only receive the prize money, but it will also be advertised by myself on several websites.
The members of the team that gets Second Place will both receive a special mystery gift in the mail.
[I'll also try to see if I can get other people from the ohr to donate prizes as the contest goes on.]


Voting will be the normal OHR way, where a voting thread is opened after the end of the contest entry due date, and everyone in the community has a chance to vote on his/her favorite game. To vote, you need only list the entries in order of which one you think was best to which one you think was the worst.

I can offer graphics and maybe a story. I'd hope to be partnered up with someone who is a great plot scripter.

I can draw up enemy and hero graphics, as well as some map graphics.

Indeed Voltire, there will be only 2 of you. There will also be no theme. Once you get a partner you can start making what ever game, you and your partner want to make.

To summarize:
The due date to sign up is October 31, 2011
The due date to submit your team's game is July 1, 2012.
The prize is 10 dollars per entry past the 2nd.
Voting will be similar to the 48hr contests' style of voting.
Also, if there is an odd number of people that sign up I'll enter as well. If there is an even number I won't be entering.
