The topic briefly appeared in #slimesalad yesterday and there was a general consensus to simply cut out the no-shows and those unwilling. But this is all tentative as the official decision shall be reserved for the host.
I propose... changing group 2 into:
Spoon
Hawk
JSH
Giz
Definitely cutting ajguy, and asking Hachi, Joker, and Monopoly if they still want in. I want to say I remember Mister J saying he's out, but I can't recall, and I'd love to see Hachi and M. Man play, and anyone else who wants to jump in at this very moment. (Glow, Ronin, TMC, Neek, SewieDewie?)

Group 1 already finished their game.
Charbile: 6
Aeth: 4
Giz: 3
JSH: 2
Spoonweaver: 2
Mogri: 1

#2 aeth: 19 points (2 Provinces, 4 Estates, and a Duchy); 15 turns
opening: Silver / Feast
[29 cards] 4 Grand Markets, 3 Markets, 2 Horse Traders, 1 Hunting Party, 7 Coppers, 2 Silvers, 3 Golds, 4 Estates, 1 Duchy, 2 Provinces
#2 jsh357: 19 points (3 Provinces, 3 Estates, and 2 Curses); 15 turns
opening: nothing / Royal Seal

#4 GozerGomez: 15 points (2 Provinces, 5 Estates, and 2 Curses); 15 turns
opening: Jester / nothing
[34 cards] 3 Grand Markets, 3 Scouts, 2 Horse Traders, 2 Markets, 1 Jester, 7 Coppers, 3 Silvers, 1 Potion, 3 Golds, 5 Estates, 2 Provinces, 2 Curses
Charbile: 6
Aeth: 4
Giz: 3
JSH: 2
Spoonweaver: 2
Mogri: 1
Hawk: 1
Shizuma: 0
Too bad we could never finish this. It's weird winning two games here, but losing pretty much every other game. Think JSH is like a level 28 now, higher than anyone else.
SO
Having played the game for awhile, we should talk strategy. Here's mine:
(in the hopes of someone making ohr dominion, with ai)
The basic structure is:
- buy silver, gold, province, highest you can on any given turn
- you're allowed one action every turn, so to not buy an action card is to waste this, so if I'm not going for a big action chain, at least buy something to use to power up the money game
- first thing to look for are attack cards, never rely on them (exception goons/minions) but never ignore them - have at least one. Never go crazy, because as much fun as it is to hamper others, it ruins my deck, not allowing me to buy VP
- Next is trashers, which can severely negate curse attack cards while giving better draws to buy VP.
- for turns:
by turn 4, should have had at least one 5$ hand
by turn 6, should have at least one gold
by turn 12, should have had at least one 8$ hand
by turn 14, province buying should have already started, this is the late game
Some decks lengthen this out, but this is the general guide I go by.
Probably have more to say, but pretty curious what everyone else goes by. What's your typical decision process?
