Those tiles are actually quite good! The walkabout: not as good. But really not bad overall.

Housemaster looks really cool, Red. Which of the five acts does he belong to?

I guess I'm still in Act 3. This area is being fleshed out a little more and will be a place you return to later for more adventures. I'm in the process of wrapping it up altogether so I can advance the story and start Act 4. Thanks for the compliments though Pepsi.

After as long time of thinking ... - Ta-da-da-daaa -
I did upload a Demo-version of my game! :)
Kim und Jose!

Even though it has a german title, there is a version with english text.
I tried hard translating it, but if you find any odd grammar or spelling mistakes, please let me know. Thanks.

I just wanted to tell you that i finally finished the demo-version ...

Now that it's summer, I'm going to be making Eternity Fragment a priority again. What I released before is probably 40% of what I have envisioned for the whole thing.

The remaining 60% will be known as The End of Eternity Fragment, and divided into two parts. The first part will actually be my entry for the OHR film festival. The second part will be interactive, and approximately as long as Eternity Fragment: Prelude.

I wrote out the entire summary of the next segment a while back, so my next goal is to expand it to a complete script. Since it's going to be a short film, I don't think I'll be posting many screenshots.

When it's done, the game (Eternity Fragment Complete) will consist of three distinct episodes:
Eternity Fragment Episode 1: Prelude
The End of Eternity Fragment
-Eternity Fragment Episode 2: Reset
-Eternity Fragment Episode 3: Return

Jotting down a number of projects that I may or may not scrap at a future date. Please bear with me.

"Back when Magic was first being explored and investigated, there was an ancient relic known as the Ruby Pillar. We didn't know then, but it was the Horn of the Rubudrac, our Hatchling. Its power was strong, but corruptive if relied on for too long.

How do I know this? I have... spent much time investigating the Elemental Crests and their origins. All the evidence points to them being created around the same time that Lementil first became a Lich. Actually, no. It was a direct result of Lementil's 'creation' that the Crests were created.

Now, this piece of information was the hardest to track down, and all it is is rumor, but it is said that the first Reaper of Zeyr, Delmar, created the Crests in order to seal Lementil away. I believe that to be true..."

The Mountainlands had always been at war with itself. Gildem versus Albis, Eldar versus Eldin, Vampire versus Ghoul. Yet the war that currently rages could destroy the planet. You see, the Rubudrac, the Hatchling of Zeyr, was sealed away long ago in the Mountainlands, by the Wandering Maidens. Their statues keep the seal intact. However, Emperor Brian has decided to twist the sealing magic into something that would make him immortal, and King Wulfric wants to prevent that completely. Neither appear to realize that damaging the seal could release the Rubudrac...

The Idiot of Heaven, Atmos, is at it again. He says he learned after that incident with Baron Kainen, but you never know. Anyhow, he's put out some sort of request for adventurers. Something about the Rod of Mordecai? I wish I knew the details, especially since the Shadow of Kafinex needs to be destroyed, but still... Atmos has never been the brightest star in the sky, and a generic call for adventurers in this day and age just screams for Kafinex's attention.

This is still hype related I guess. Triangle's Maze will be getting a special deluxe box version. The box will include the original music vampiducki wrote for it, along with two theme songs, one for Slither and one for Mr. Triangle along with the 8-bit versions. Game will also include, while I have enough, the Slither logo sticker which I just got in today. I'm sure there will be more goodies, but yeah, hopefully when the game is done, I can make it a little extra special, since it's not everyday a 3 year project comes to a close.

I'm making the stuff for myself because I'm proud of it, so if I were able to make enough, I'd sell them at cost. I don't believe in ripping people off or taking advantage of em. But thanks for the encouraging words. I'm also planning on doing a set of 4 pins for each of the bosses of the game in a similar design as Slither.

Very huge cutscene in HQ3 finally hammered out! Kinda a big deal for me. Time to get to work on the Film Festival now!

Current Vomage Genesis build: 27052011 World Map Graphics Build

NOTE: OHRRPGCE game
Read This First wrote:The current build of Vomage Genesis you are looking at is the 5/27/2011 build. No new areas have been added (technically), and the primary focus of this build is to work on the world map's graphics. The boss testing area should still exist, just change the starting settings to Map 0, X 0, Y 0.

Since this is a working build, feel free to muck around, but do not redistribute the .rpg file with any changes you made without asking me first. In my head, I'm sharing this under a creative commons "attribution non-commercial share-alike" license, but I haven't bothered to actually grab a copy of the license to include with the file, so I'm saying all of this in good faith.

TO-DO LIST:
Finish World Map Grpahics
Finish Emeralda Valley map
Begin Emeralda Valley text boxes
Improve battle graphics: Mortimer Drago, Mercury Molion, bite, osmose, punch

Any free help is appreciated ^^
