The Wizard the Thief and the Lich - Review & Video

Post by Bob the Hamster »

It takes guts to take a month long contest and do a 24 hour entry, and apparently Momoka had those guts. The Wizard the Thief and the Lich reminds me of the old days of the OHR, back when designers were limited to 4 maps. This game uses three maps actually.

It is obviously thrown together as a joke game, but it has a few highlights. The graphics are stylized homage to ASCII games like NetHack. The dialogue is silly, especially if you boosh your slappy slang like a right jolly waffler.

It is a short game. I almost beat it in the video. I also got distracted and started discussing home-made marinades and cell phone radiation with my girlfriend during the final boss fight. Watch and enjoy.

It's 30s slang, since you asked. The dialogue is the only part of the game I like even a little.

I have to say, watching you play the game is the rather more entertaining then the game itself.
