There are a couple of inside jokes (mostly about the number 110,000,000 (because of the song), and a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion, but they're minor enough).

I think the 3rd part of the movie is the best, with the most relatable jokes, heh.

Yeah, that is great. It was very confusing at first, because I was expecting rips from the actual FFVI songs, but it looks like they went as far as to using the instruments/parts of songs themselves to sync with the Lucky Star theme.
