Signs you're way deep into making games

Post by Only One In All »

What are some signs for you that you are using a game creation engine in particular a LOT?

For me, the telltale sign I use the OHRRPGCE half of the time I'm awake is that in my dreams, I can clip through walls the same way you can with F11. This happens in my dreams as in a similar matter. >:(

Back when I was drawing 8-bit sprites a lot I would look at people in the real world and try to figure out how I'd draw them as a sprite and what 3 colors I'd use.

You ask your band teacher if he/she can get the class to compose some "castle music".

When you bring a floppy disc (nowadays a flash drive) to school to work on graphics during the dead parts of class. So that when you get home you can really go to town on your game.

When your notepad/notebook has more game concept ideas than actual notes. This wasn't the case for me in college, but it sure is now. Boring meetings are the best.

I do that. I'll also occasionally try to dress in such a way that I could easily be drawn in three colors.

This happens to me at night, during the day, when eating, when trying to sleep, when watching TV, and when reading books.

Me, I also tend to fight things that apparently aren't there; I regularly strike the air for no apparent reason. I also tend to throw my arms out in the "Hadouken" pose.

And whenever I accomplish something difficult, I hear victory music.
I respond to the music by throwing my arms in the air and humming along to it.

I don't think this has anything to do with making games. :???:

Depends... is the victory music the Final Fantasy fanfare, or Victory3.BAM?
