this is really late, but I think what I was going for was to show that it was going to roll randomly, and that it did indeed roll 2 twice in a row.

that, and uh, best two out of three i guess? idk.

anyway, it rolled 2. whatever that meant in the context of this thread, lol. my vote was jackelope.

Considering Sword of Jade's getting a Steam release sometime in the next month very near future, this would've been an incredibly appropriate codename. I second it.

If you haven't picked a "J" name yet then I suggest "Jackolantern" or something similar, since this current stable release is coming out shortly before Halloween.

We were going to pick the release name by rolling dice. So I decided to write a 3D physics simulation of dice rolling, complete with 3D graphics, as an OHR game, devise some anti-cheat mechanisms, port it to the web, maybe get Mogri to allow embedding OHR web games in forum posts, and we could roll our fancy dice right here in this thread. Of course all of that had to happen before the ichorescent release, so I made sure to delay release a few years until I could roll some dice. Didn't get too far on the physics, but at least the web port, transformed slice rendering, and my cube rendering scripts were pretty much complete, but then James foiled my plans!

Hehe! I am delighted to hear you had a plan that was more complex than the voting system :)

So only one person ever posted any dice videos, and that was Rue.

Both the first roll and the most frequent roll was 2, so the next codename will be Jocoserious.

I want to keep the same selection method for the "k" release, just in case it gives tmc another chance to create that dice roller.

Y'all can start suggesting weird obscure "k" words now

You must be jocoserious! For some reason I thought the codename would be Jumulent! I remembered pretty badly, because that's not a word (much more so than to the usual standard) and wasn't suggested.
